Can someone help me make my server? If you help me get it up I will make you admin in it. The problem i have is port forwarding. None of the forum pages helped me. I would like a person who is a Computer Technician to help me step by step threw "Teamview". If so please message me *ASAP*!

Just telling us "it doesnt work" "it doesnt work" does not help us.

If you are having problems, tell us specifically what is the problem as the tutorial clearly describes how to open ports on the router.

Examples would be:

• I'm having trouble logging in.
• I cant find the open port page.
• I'm not sure which protocol it should be.

http://portforward.com/
Helped me at my minecraft server, and could help you at CS2D.
What do you need to know is:
• Your router model
• Your router password (Sometimes pass and username are 'admin')

Then you chose the game, there is no CS2D but chose any other game and replace the port they said to use by 36963

Good luck~ and please don't use my/this information to host shitty server(s)

Also:
DC has written
× AND DO NOT CREATE A NEW THREAD ABOUT IT!

Unless theres something that is not at the list, maybe?
(Thread is thread cs2d Server Setup: Guide / Checklist)

Where is the problem? Your server always appears in LAN tab for you. Because it's obviously in your local network. Ask your friend it he can join your server by connecting directly to your IP. If so - alles ist gut, your server is up and running. It clearly says that your server was added to USGN serverlist - check here for your IP.

I don't quite understand - so you want to host a server in LAN or what? Then you don't need to do port-forwarding. Your server is always being added to USGN serverlist (if not mistaken) - something is wrong with port-forwarding when people outside your network can't connect to your server directly by IP.

@user SD: OK look, I don't want to host my server in lan! All i'm saying is that I only see my server in Lan, but I just don't want it to be in Lan... I want it to be in the Server List. Although it doesn't come out. When I see my IP in the IP List it just shows me my computer IP with :36963 at the end. I had told someone to connect to it but they had told me that, that ain't the correct IP. I just want help to make my server visible to me and others in the "SERVER LIST"!

Okay so you say you have problems getting into the list.

Instead of "do it for me" tell me what your problem is with portforwarding.

Do you need help finding the page?
Do you need help entering the ports?

Please give us more than "do it for me please"

Ah. Their we go. The information I was trying to get from you for 3 days now.
Glad to see we are making progress.

Steps:

• Open router config page.
• Click the tab for port forwarding.
• You will likely see something that has two input box's on the page. This is where you enter the ports you would like to forward. Just simply enter "36963" as the port, (default cs2d port) restart your router, and see if your server is in the list.

If you do not see your server in the list, possible problems may include:

• Incorrect Configuration of the router.
• Windows Firewall.
• Anti-virus software.
• You have'nt restarted the CS2D server, or the router.

Well, did you check what I gave you?
Cause it has the answer of 'putting the port'
