planting level 175 unlocks herbal garden.

That machete tool tip needs updated. The big spiky top palm on the shore provides bark though. As you hit stuff, over time you will find some things are better for some items then others. Like the branchy dead looking bush provides a lot of branches vs other stuff. Or the dead vine tree stump gives a lot of vines etc.

The forge get "Too wet" while it's raining even if it has a shelter over it. No matter how many times i try to light it up with the flints it won't light up. Since the flints have +5 damage i'm afraid if i keep trying i'll break the forge part. I don't think it should get wet at all if it has shelter over it since rain doesn't touch it.

Using a poison arrow on a whale or shark will make them permanently poisoned. The problem here is they will follow you even if they have to swim through the earth. At some point they will die and their corpse appear on the island surface. It's hilarious. Barely been on the island for 15 days and i have over 200 oils from them.

what mode you playing on? Hard ,normal or easy?
Once you kill the whales on hard or normal...it would likely be many days before you see another whale. Easy mode spawns a couple whales at the start, where hard n normal should only spawn 1 at the start. They have a very low spawn rate...so if you on the island for 15 days you may have spawned 1-2 more...I will look at the script but I think it is a fluke you got a few whales early on....the game is random in most all aspects.

i cant do anything about the fish swimming through the shore...its a defect in the game engine. so yeah, they may appear on the land if they "bleedout" and die under the island. Anything bleeding will die eventually. (or poisoned).

I always play on hard, usually on a big island but i started a small island for the fun of it today. I killed 2 sharks and 1 whale so far. Small island isn't really worth playing after you taken out the main enemies. Big island is where the fun is at.

Survivor is 70 so based on the survivor description. It should be one week, so seven days. Oil also included the one from other monsters. Sorry for not being accurate.

As soon as the game started i made a knife and killed a native bowman, stole his longbow and arrows. Did my best to stay away from the lion while making a campfire and killing a few birds, along with 2 snakes. got a lof of leaves.

Made my fire camp then slept. Next day i made a bottle or two. I don't remember how, must be the turtle and the monkey. Made more arrows, killed the lions. Small island became mine only. Lot of birds, sheeps, etc. then a few days later i was messing around, i made a few poison arrows, shot the shark for the heck of it. later during the same day, i was making iron at the forge, the shark corpse popped out of nowhere. Was so funny. Then i walked around the island, seen a whale very far, swam to him, another shark came behind the whale, shot them both with poison arrows. Then they both died at some point.

I've compiled a list of ideas and bugs I found:
- Shouldn't need an iron hoe to plant (was doing corn at the time), if I have a steel one in inv
-Water from the spring shouldn't make you sick when you transfer it into a bottle. Possibly the well as well
-Please give the ability to prospect glass/crystal nodes
-Maybe make the lantern an items instead of having to constantly remake it
-Steel nails should always be able to be used instead of iron ones in recipies. Also maybe able to use steel bar instead for the barrel?
-The shotgun really should do more damage, esp. if shooting at point blank. It takes 10 steel balls, doesn't do much more damage than normal bullets, but really I have better luck standing back and shooting with pistol.
-An idea: Perhaps a scope for pistol?? Maybe using bamboo and glass?
-Are you able to add the ability to scroll in the bag, like the diary has? Also the ability to move items around in the bag... and stay in that position?
-Bug: The rainbow fish is 300g. When you cut it in half to cook it, it doubles in weight to 2x300g
-Allow the ability to fill the water trough so it can auto water when away? I know the rain can fill it up
-The potting skill feat at level 150 says you can now make Oil lamp bases, but i'm already making it at level 2?
-Please allow an easier way to gain levels for potting, as it is very hard. Maybe Lumbering aswell? I feel like I have to deforest the whole island just to get up a few levels, and it's a lot of effort to repopulate them all
-Bug: The iron machete blade tool tip says that it needs nails to combine it. It doesn't use any nails however, just a handle and blade. The steel one does use nails, but I didn't have any on me to see if there was any problems with that one.
-Question: The poison says I can use it on meat. I haven't actually tried to see if it works, but how would I use it? Would you be able to allow it to add to a trap, so when you open the trap, the animal is already dead
-Maybe allow the dock to clip into each other when building, making it easier and look nicer

-Bug: The hand grenade doesn't explode. I threw multiple... waited 20 sec no explosion. But does explode when picked up
-When the chickens at the coop run out of food they slowly start to die. Maybe could just allow them to run off? Also their animation is walking in 1 spot, which is sorta weird when you place multiple chickens, even when they spawn behind, not even near it.
-Level 50 mining feat says water spring has limited amount of water. The one on my game seems to be unlimited.

Sorry it's such a long list, I was just writing down what I found while playing. I hope these ideas can help in some way.

Dunno if this was mentioned before but the grill may need some fixing/model changes/whatever; I was cooking bread, cookies, and berry bread and my high cooking level lets me to place 8 foods on at once. What happened was that after I finished cooking, there were two, a cookie and a berry bread, that became inaccessible until I smashed the grill and walked into the firepit. Although not game breaking, it is rather annoying to find the grill food hit box to be a bit wonky.
I'm just putting it here as a bug though it's not much of one.

Otherwise, most are listed after fixing them in the To-Do List at the top of page 1. If they are really minor bugs then I don't list em, even though I fix em.

I've been playing this wonderful mod for a while, so I figured I'd chime in with a few ideas and suggestions of mine.

1. Make arbalest the high damage, low rate of fire equivalent of bows; make them require to be reloaded after each shot by right-clicking, and make the reload time relatively long? Needs to have superior range and damage compared to all the bows.
2. Re-add the goldbow as a direct upgrade to the longbow - 3x cord, 3x bendable branch and 3-10x gold nuggets? either +3 or +4 base damage?
3. Make lions, claw monkeys and natives faster? (not really sure about this one, but I feel like sprinting should be a necessity for outrunning most of the animals and natives)
4. Higher damage for all natives? (I'm mostly worried about the ranged ones being too weak generally, especially considering their loot)
5. Less and more random drops for natives? The chieftain is the only one that should drop actual health potions, in my opinion; the other ones can drop varying amounts of normal healing plants/herbs, possibly even none if you're unlucky enough. amount of dropped arrows needs to be randomised, or just outright reduced. Elite bowmen should either drop a shortbow, longbow or no weapon at all. Normal bowmen either a shortbow or no weapon at all.
6. Make sheep milk quench one's thirst less, while at the same time sating one's a hunger a bit more. (-20 thirst, -4 hunger? I dunno lol)
7. Reduce the amount of bolts that can be made per branch and piece of iron/steel to 2-3?

I also noticed a few bugs/possible bugs.

1. Iron machete doesn't require nails.
2. The kiln doesn't need to be lit to harden clay items.
3. Wolfdog respawns tamed after you kill it and press "e" on its corpse.
4. Doesn't seem like the arbalest/crossbow can be crafted? (I'm probably just dumb though)

you can add water to the Water Trough to water a larger area of crops than using a bottle of water on the ground...already in the last update. Approach the "spout" of the water trough and right click with a bottle inhand to water the trough, instead of the ground. Any plant in range will be watered...and you only need to water them if they are black in color and the trough is empty. Your water will not stay in the trough, as the trough spreads your bottle of water out over the ground in a larger radius than just the bottle alone. (its in the diary)

I did find a small bug, where using a poison arrow on a tree, stone or probably even your own building poisons it. It's funny watching a poisoned stone kill itself hahaha

From what i noticed so far.

1) Using paper to light the campfire doesn't consume the paper itself.

2) Are bees EVERYWHERE on the island or only close to their nest?

Also i believe you said you added some sea colors pallet or something and every time we take a nap it's choosen randomly. Maybe that is why it feels so laggy.

Why not simply have it choose one of them when creating a new game and stick to it?

I have my own rule when i play this game: When i die, i erase the data and make a new map.

Looking forward the upcoming stuff! hang in there!

bees spawn random and very few. you wil not find a hive for the first 10 days of any map.

yeah...its not perfect yet...the fuels burn up in an a particular order based on its burn time(new added to descriptions)...so the paper wont disappear until the other fuel you have in there is burnt up. etc...will be right by endgame.

eh...I missed that weapon when I made all stuff compatible to using different hammers. When I added the other hammers...once upon a time you could only make 1 hammer, the Stone Hammer.

3 Branch + 5 Ironbar + 6 Cord + 10 Ironbolt + STONE Hammer

your probably just using the wrong hammer...sorry √ fixed for next update to use any hammer.

p.s.
Lonely...also note: The players agility/speed is increased as your survivor skill raises. So after playing on a map being fast after several skill-ups, and then start a new game, your back to being very slow...Just pointing out that new maps may seem like slow...but it's the actual new map player with no skill-up..
