I have not really searched thoroughly, so excuse me if this already exists. But I would like an option to add a team point like on standard game modes or zombies. Would come in real handy!

(Yes I know you can endround and add a point by setting an end value, but I don't want to end the round..)

• Better "Tile Properties" Editor
     Just make it, uhm, simple

     + add more types for walls (ex: wood, metal, etc)
     + if type of wall = wood then some bullets can pass through (realistic maybe)


• Map with layered tiles or tile height and also, stairs
     to make houses with floors, or higher places. With this you can remake de_dust + other maps completely (not sure if possible with aiming)


• Normal water + cold water (if possible)
     for underwater trolling stuff


• Portal ID (editor)
     so we can organize orange and blue portals (dunno if this feature is in cs2d alerady)


• Dead players' body (lolwat)


• "Undo" on entities and "Redo" for all (editor)


• Lua editor in map editor (+ import lua function)
     so we don't have to separate lua from the map (+ if possible, maps will be registered to usgn or maps will have a password so no one can edit it except the original creator)
     

• Realistic Flashbang effects
     blurry things and lost of hearing for approx. 5 seconds (if blur isn't possible, just block the sound)


• Map description can be written in map editor
     same reason with lua on map editor, so we don't have to separate this from the map


• Layered entities (PLEASE)
     entities can be layered except "dyn_walls = wall" and teleports


• No Portals area or "only portals allowed" option in info_nobuildings (maybe)


• Can view Messages/accept Friend Requests on cs2d (if possible)


• MOVABLE OBJECTS (if possible)
• HEs can move objects/dropped weapons

• player avatar (in forums) can be seen in cs2d

Add patroling to NPC. It's about placing points where npc should walk, no more than 5 points on one NPC

That's cool, adding waypoints is cool so NPCs will not stay in the same position for years. And also, it's cool if you can set waypoints for NPCs with a specific name (like in red alert 2, lol)

slim i think DC dont want to create any donation stuff for a free indie game. it will be just the same shit like we have in some android apps already with ingame donation, its the biggest crap ever

Parenting game objects
Every time that you make a game object move, the other objects that are parented to it will move relative to it's angle (it keeps the position that was set when it was parented). It could help to reduce internet resources when moving images with tweens for example.

env_room should be triggerable, to add day&night effects. also env_room shouldnt be affected by doublelayering. currently its like env_room + env_room = 0

and you can also add file cs2d Blood- & decorset (by XoOt) as decals if you want, because the actual standarddecals are almost not used because (sorry for that) they look a bit crappy in my opinion.

Also, I'd like it possible to import effects or something like that so they worked like env_objects (like lamp flicker,alarm,tree,palm).

I want to suggest possibility to place areas up/left side too (env_hurt/env_room,teamgate etc.) as I can't really make normal looking rooms from top left corner cause I've got other entities there (like teleporters...)

OK, i got an idea.

Most of the mappers know there a text file like map.txt for the map.map. And what contain inside the text file map.txt will be the briefing for map.map.

What about image? Will load 640x480 image like map.bmp when loading map.

So one complete map with files are like this:
map.map
map.txt
map.bmp

It this possible?

Hey, it is really annoying for the streamers in "professional" cs2d gaming and our community, cause we have to play with specmode 2, but spectactors don't have a free look, so the screen is jumping to a whole different place when a player gets killed etc.
What i'd like to suggest is specmode with normal settings for ct/tt - you can only see your team with fog
and for spec - free look, so streaming or just simply being the referee is way easier for us.

Someone mentioned flashbangs with sound, that would be great, since everytime player is flashed, we still aim by our sound.

+1 for milriko, crs have told about the sv_specmode 4 in last posts but I support this again and the sound for flashbang (extend untill the screen goes normal) is a another great idea too.

My idea is add on profile a option to put clan past and the clan at the moment we are playing.
Also organize little tornaments (cs2d) in this comunity powered by unrealsoftware like 1n1 fun cup to indroduce new players the standard mode (some guys doesn´t know that).

That's a great idea.

@user Milriko: Adding a sound is not necessary. Getting flashed is enough disadvantage already as you have to use other senses beside your vision and sound would be really annoying.
