I've been getting some issues with the game running stable lately.

Every about 5-10 mins my fps will drop and I would lag for about 2 - 3 seconds before it resumes.
It's starting to annoy me and I hope to find a solution to this issue.

Here's the conditions I run the game:
Full-Screen
DirectX
Particles Low
Shadows Simple
Lights Off
Gore Low

My laptop should be more than enough to handle the game:
CPU: i7 2630QM @ 2.0GHz ~ 2.9GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR3
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT540m 1GB DDR3

Any suggestions?

Isn't that a bit too extreme?

EDIT: CS2D won't run on any of those settings other than 32-bit

NO game booster is stupid cancels out useless process which you can do yourself.
Also put the window mode to fullscreen.

Also game booster lets you know if you should update ur drivers.

That's what it gives me.
Using windows 7.

It seems to have stopped lagging now after I updated some stuff so hopefully it remains that way.

Game Booster is a waist of space
i suggest you too turn off Lighting
Shadows in 0%
no item shadows
and player shadows
turn off all things in Graphics

that helped me alot

This wouldn't help him because his video card is good enough for the highest settings.

it seems something with CPU because I had these lags in other multiplayer games and I have same CPU as user cortz, but idk how I fixed that.
