30. cal 1919 all the way >;) There are plenty of ways to bring the dam things down the simplest would be a jamming signal in which case once cut off from its pilot / commander the drone would automatically return to base.

One thing you guys are all missing : Looking at the correct side

True, what with all the SOPA, Police brutality, Corrupt governments and corporate greed, America might seem like some cursed land

But look at the better side, and you'll find out that the very country you are cursing is the country that's keeping everything good, remove America, and everything basically just falls apart

you guys are some of the dumbest, most idiotic unintelligent bunch of people i've seen, you quickly veer from on-topic to why the USA deserves to be thrown into hell

Anyway, back on-topic : Hell yes, you might think "INVASION OF PRIVACY", but in reality, it's just something to monitor airspace and ensure safety, what with advanced technology, Aircraft Disasters are still inevitable, a Drone would actually decrease the chances of aircraft disasters

And what kind of "INVASION OF PRIVACY" would drones do? do you have sex aboard planes? no, Do you deal drugs aboard planes? no, Do you get monitored and surveyed for being on planes? yeah, i think the Airport already does it, and if you're thinking the drones are dangerous, shit, chances are, Other planes are a magnitude more dangerous than some drone that's off the path of planes, and so far, there had been no plans to put rocket launchers on Civilian Planes, forget arming a Drone with rockets

1. Nobody's cursing America, most want the best for it.
The constitution which it was founded on.

2. America is not the world police, stop acting like it is.

3. America is currently doing more harm than good.
If you can't see this, I feel sorry for you.

Ron Paul was the only man with the correct ideas who could restore America to its glory, but he's not winning the election. So it's not looking good for the future.

ahem do u even know what drone is? why do u talk about sex, drugs in the planes?
drones are flying recon devices, which are usually used in war conflicts to spy over an area. So now after allowing creation of police drones police can litterally see what is happening in your backyard. That is an invasion of your privacy, because now police can watch over you more closely. spying your own citizens shows how much freedom they have lol

Obviously even the UK didn't had learned from their own novelist Orwell ("1984")...:

And by the way I bet my fu**ing ass that most people don't really understand what the following video in this context means...:

Maybe you get it after reading this...

And at least to cititate Benjamin Franklin:

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Hey, Have you noticed that they're making drones to monitor Air traffic? you guys need to stop spewing out random crap

As for America doing more harm than good : China is doing more harm, without helping anyone, and they don't get insults thrown at them, now, America here, it does plenty of good but adds a few pinches of bad, and people feel that they should throw shit at it, true, the war in Iraq and Iran is bad, but let's see who is worst :

America, A country that is waging war against a Country that's basically a terrorist ground
Iraq, The country of people that have no qualms about killing millions just so they could spread some bullshit about Islam

I feel sorry that for the blind and the Braindead, a whole bunch of people that never understands the good that one has done, but instead decides that they should focus on the bad ones, Maybe when you guys finally become grown men you'll understand, or you'll not understand and end up in jail for "Fighting Corruption" when it really is "Kill a whole bunch of people and pretend you're fighting corruption"

Obviously, you're a fucking idiot.

DIRECT QUOTE FROM ARTICLE - DATED 2007: "Merseyside police are using the "spy drone", fitted with CCTV cameras, mainly for tackling anti-social behaviour and public disorder."

The only time you're ever going to be scared of this (or disagree with this) is if you have something to hide or you're a criminal.

The issue is that they increasingly militarized police are being given military drones not civilian ones They are getting and currently using the old predator UAVs that again can have up to 2 hellfire missiles or cluster bomb packages attached.

And dont give me that bullshit excuse that America is fighting terrorism We created it as a useful excuse to keep the military industrial complex churning out weapons to sell to literally anyone with the cash post cold war. The US now sells more arms that China and post Soviet Russia combined with prime customers being pro US policy dictators and lets not forget about the drug war and cartels all over South America who more often then not use American made firearms that are top military grade.

Al queda and the Taliban were sponsored by the US and used as a proxy force "AKA the Afghan Mujahideen" to kill Russians during the Soviet Afghan war and now they have turned against as as we betrayed them at the end of that war leaving that country war torn thus allowing the fundamentalist extremists to take full control.

Also if we are fighting to get revenge for 9-11 why the fuck did we invade Afghanistan and Iraq? The fucking hijackers all came from Saudi Arabia and had connections to that countries resources as well as connections with the parts of the Pakistani intelligence. >>

The war on terror is a lie war is a racket a scam to make money by having the rich send the poor to fight and die just so their stocks might go up a few points.

The USA is NOT a republic or democracy any more its a fascist oligarchy with extremist fundamentalist Christian Dominionists & neo aristocratic elites at the helm controlling it. a nation built for the super rich and privileged elite.

You mean for fat people that like Mc Donalds. America is corrupt all-round. And would you mind to minimize your posts, I don't like reading an entire page which basically tells me the same thing over and over. No offence.

@user dENd: There are two types of people in the US: the ones that have 3 cars and 3-floor houses and the ones, that have a nice little house in the suburbs and a car and are paying off mortgages for their whole life. The latter ones are 70% of population of America. The first ones are 2%. There rest is in real trouble.

OnTopic
Drones are a bad idea since unlike Human error they cant fix it since they cant improvise.
