The trees could also get improved a bit. Against treefighters. You know, they´re always camping straight under the trees, as the tree wouldn´t have a tribe.

I am not perfect at all, I have 3 or 4 temp bans so far. Now take a look at the whole thread again and you will see that your first 2 suggestions are already declined multiple times before you and your third suggestion cannot be dealed by DC at all because palms are placed my mappers and it is their responsibility to put it on the map or not. If you hate tree campers so much, than I will suggest you to change gfx of all palms to an empty square than you will see all those campers, but this is a kind of cheating.

Some of the disappeared chat messages should be shown when you are typing a new message. This is quite useful and makes sense.

Just open console to see them...

I know it also works this way. But it's still kinda annoying to do it every time.

I have 10 (original) ideas in mind:

1. Better radar - I think it shouldn't be hard to implement a radar similar to that of CSS where it shows the map itself. Maybe show a red dot if an enemy shoots or is seen by a teammate temporarily. This should help the competitive community a bit more.

2. Flashlight - Maybe have a working flashlight that allows you to see better in fow but exposes your position.

3. Better Scoreboard - If on a CT side, show if someone has a defuser and show what gamemode you are playing.

4. Friends - Everyone loves playing with friends, but having it only show on the game menu isn't that great. If they would show up as a different color on the scoreboard, or under "view details" on a server. It would be cool

5. Tweak Weapons - and AK-47 appears to have the same spread and damage as that of an M4 but costs 600 less. If an ak-47 has more spread but does more damage than an m4 which is more accurate but less damage, then it's fairly more balanced. I'm only using an ak/m4 as an example. But instead of adding new weapons, I think the current set can be improved upon.

6. More Lua Functions - I'm sure this is requested a lot. But since you aren't comfortable making a mod api or something, I think extending how lua affects the game would be a great addition.

7. Surround Sound - Playing with only stereo in-game is tough, it gives me a lot of misconception of where the enemy player is. At least make it an option, this will boost support in competitive play.

8. More Advanced HUD - Display images of what you have picked up/acquired. Instead of just showing -$$$ when purchasing, you can make it draw an image of what you have purchased with the -$$ next to it. also when picking up an item, it shows up somewhere that you have acquired something. Because sometimes you pick up a ton of nades and you just can't keep up on the fly of what do you have. Might also let you know if you have a miss buy of something.

9. Better Input - Its not a big deal but sometimes, when you enter a password for a server and you press "Enter"... nothing happens, and you end up moving your hand to your mouse and aiming wildly to hit the "Ok" button. Making "Enter" automatically input shouldn't be difficult, and adding it too most, if not all textboxes would be a plus.

10. More console commands - CSS has a butt load of console commands which allows you to edit just about every aspect of the game. It would be great to see something like that in cs2d as well. Maybe something that disables your HUD, chat, death notice, radar..etc.. but leaves your pointer. Promoting montages or something. (Otherwise you need a person in spectator recording a player which is extremely inconvenient)

That's about it. I think these would help improve and attract more people to the cs2d community without breaking the basis of the game.

I hope at least one of them get's consider'd

And you want to test them... you have to save the map then go and make a new game...
Thats pretty lame.
I want ''TEST'' button in the map editor.
When you press it it will sipply make you a server.

Are you guys seriously gonna do this all the time?

Back to topic, I think waypoints should be implemented for bots using botnode. Such as a function in the priority for bots to move in a certain botnode first then the second one and so on. If ignored, bots will randomly choose a botnode.
