how about making cs2d more realistic?
1.remove crosshair (might be a bad ideaa)
2.add laser pointer
3.double-weald wepons for mac-10 and elite
4. faster upgrading
5. lvl 4 turret(uses missile)
6. lvl 2 dispenser (+5 more health giving)
7.shot-gun reloads like a real shotgun
8.items given by supply or dispensers will disapear if built on it
9.extra dmg armor +10% dmg on weapons
10. when supply is being upgraded if it's dmg the upgrade % will not disapear but loses health and for all buildings

I think he meant items being built on buildings will disappear. Could be useful to avoid supply not producing stuff.

Seems legit, no one likes their upgrades being destroyed except for those that never build and upgrade to support their teammates. At least the one's that can't fight can be some of use in construction servers by helping to upgrade and supporting the team.

The others are shit.

2.Possible with lua.
3.Would be good, but bad idea, too.

5.What about upgrade lvl 5.:double rocket turret?

7.All weapons should be reloaded in diffrent ways.

9.Possible with lua, bad idea, becouse armor protects you, no increases your weapons damage .
10. Yeah, it's good idea, becouse enemies & trollers (from your team) damage your supplies/turrets when you're upgrading them.

Lol 5.1 surround sound for a 2D game? You only need stereo sound, and thus far CS2D is just fine with it's audio panning. No need for ridiculous extra axis of sound to pan the audio as a three dimensional instance as there are only two axis in CS2D because it's a 2D game with only two axis: x and y.

what do you mean? i think it best now


i was essencially going to put this here but figured it would fit more into the other topic that i made.

1.) i think that the most attractive aspects come from the map designers. Integrating a map rating system into the game could really separate the shitty maps from the exceptional ones.

2.) focusing more on opportunities with the game map editor could really promote new players to create more maps and spend more time making better maps eventually leading to players inventing new types of maps with unique qualities.

3.) Integrating the freedoms of scripting and modding into the map editor itself via something that is visual and easy to learn could promote creativity and therefore update the game in itself through its community.

so essentially, what you want to do is be able to make the game update on its own through the people playing it through a system that runs on never-stopping popular vote.

My new idea:
Changing gfx of flags, objects and other things in map editor. For example changing red flag into box with parts for car. It will be cool for adventure maps or mission themed ctf_ maps
