@user Active: Shut up, make a video showing off your skills and post it on youtube, what's the result? Fail

Nonono incorrect question.
The correct question would be "But will it blend?".

----

Btw nobody has to show off their skills. Nobody'd watch it anyways.

Progress is slow, but come on, us 's community isn't as large as what you're comparing it to.

I don't see anything wrong with this. Please explain to me.

Kinda reminds me when I was playing another shooter, I had quit for some time, however any hint of it-be theme song, or montage...it brought it all back. And I HAD to play it again.

No really, of course you'd play the game again and shit, but that doesn't get any new players on this site / at the community.

He wants more noobs to kill for his videos, get it now?

...well there are always gonna be noobs for a game, I don't see how that affects you

the point is, that even though the videos might get you interested in the game, they are so short, that anyone watching will quickly get annoyed of having to choose a new video every 20 secs, that he might just as well decide to look for another game.
longer videos, less extreme effects and some cool zombie massacre with fitting music would be something worth watching.

Last time I checked this was CS2D, not Left4Dead.

Last time I checked CS2D had a zombie game mode. Should we leave that out? No!

@user DeF3ct: The video sucks. You could have done a lot more yet instead you just show yourself being a noob with an AWP. Now, stop arguing and make a fucking video with promoting CS2D!

I can only see a drunken shit dancing with an AWP and getting some luckys on a pub server.. I guess he didn't record it to at least 2:00 because he was badly pwned after it and then.

Seriously man, you're hopeless.

Playing CS2D for +5 years? You are a nolifer, really.

Coming from the guy who wanted Battlefield 3 so fucking bad after you saw that montage of the beta version by Clayman on YouTube . That's bullshit Cortez . You know better .

Yeah, I bought BF3 right after it was announced back in late 2010. Problem?

If you would wait 1 year for a game and see the beta come out, would it not be spectacular?

There's a 1~2 year disappearance somewhere in there.

@topic
I just noticed each video is no longer than 30 sec. With the initial clip like 5 secs.
Slow-mo is laggy which means the initial frame-rate of the video is bad.
At least the music is in somewhat sync.

But honestly, its good for showing friends and stuff. But not exactly right to show the big audience.

You do all realise you don't need to swear to get your points across, I'm not opposing any of your ideas I'm welcoming them infact- however flaming me for taking a new perspective is just immature and rude.

The CS2D Channel already has trailers and whatnot to promote CS2D, why would I replicate that? I'm taking a new standpoint in terms of awesome game-play (Still waiting for people to send in their clips). You say I have eye-cancer lighting effects when in reality all I implement is a light colour correction and some soft contrast. The music is there to enthuse the viewer.

Cvx, you say I'm a no lifer but you're not the one studying Nutritional Health as well as a social life. You should get to know people before you talk about them rudely.

If you all think I'm a "lucky noob" then you can private message me and we can arrange for a 1v1 any time you'd like.

Oh kiddo you're close but just off the mark- I'm waiting for you to come and become apart of my videos. /troll

You're all implying I'm some sort of monumental shithead when you don't even play CS2D- You just produce maps and don't play competitively in Construction abusing you 'VIP' or 'Admin' rights because you're 12. Come to the competitive side of CS2D and see if your 10 KpD is kept or to see how quickly you can ragequit after getting 360'd by some of our top players

Conclusion: No-lifers.

----

'nuff said, I'm getting bored of your shitty argument. Who the fuck cares if you go to school; you're no-lifer enough to play CS2D "competitively" which is just have a clan and play some childish clanwars.
Do sports bro, see if you can beat my records there instead of sitting behind your computer and acting like you're really awesome because you do something "competitive".

Screw that, really.

What the fuck are you on about? You're the one who started flaming him for no valid reason, yet you say "your shitty argument"?

GTFO noob, what are you doing in this topic if you don't play CS2D? That's like going to Church when your Muslim.

What's your record? What sports? Judging by your avatar, looks like you spend more time on World of Warcraft, then outside playing sports.

It's boring to debate with someone who just can't make (up) good arguments. Btw, it makes no sense that people being "flamed" shouldn't have shitty arguments. Your arguments are as bad as his, as you can tell by your hate on someone who didn't hate you yet.

I'm atleast active on this forum AND I make maps for it, if you couldn't tell by my profile page.

Swimming bitch.

Judging by your avatar, you murder people in your spare time.

Ok, ok,... Just stop arguing here...

Ok, video is good but.. make it longer 1:50~3:00. Record the whole game session, cut the lucky-kills dont show if you been killed.. then add them up.. dont use so many effects... the youre done... you don't need so many effects to make you popular or.. what...

Hmm here are my thoughts:

Quote
Posting montages, epic kills etc isn't really going to promote cs2d much

> Cs2d's community is large, encouraging people who already know cs2d is good enough

Quote
He wants more noobs to kill for his videos, get it now?

> Since it doesn't bring new people into the game - but rather people who know cs2d, they wouldn't be noobs. -- besides more people is more fun, and the video is still getting people to play

Quote
though the videos might get you interested in the game, they are so short

true, not a bad thing though

I see your arguments change and they never counter mine.

If the video is getting people to play cs2d, has it done it's job - because this is the point, promote isn't the correct terminology though.

@user ULtiMa: Then it wouldn't be a montage, and imo: watching a full game is kinda boring
