I tested the cauldron... it's fucking AWESOME! you can get in it , also tested the rotting items. Very good script. 5/5 , and I know it can't be fixed but when you stand on the cauldron, and it is making salt, you can walk on the water! (Jezus mod, rofl!) nice mod anyways! played this all the time today , going to continue playing and helping to accelerate this awesome mod.

where can i get a mod to totally change the game to make it interesting like what you are talking about, and not to sound stupid or piss you off, but do i replace the original files in the stranded 2 folder or put your mod in a seperate folder:us

if this is a question about mods in general this most likely is the wrong thread.

just have a look at the mod folder:
<Stranded 2 location>/Stranded 2/mods/

the default "mod" is the Stranded 2 folder in there.
if you want any other mod to run besides it, you have to put the mod folder of that mod into this location.

if you're looking for the speech files, go into
<Stranded 2 location>/Stranded 2/mods/Stranded II/sfx/speech/

The download contains two folders, SYS and Lion_Hearted folders.

You take the Lion_Hearted folder, and you place it IN the graphics folder in the stranded 2 original files...

/stranded2/mods/strandedII/gfx/lion_hearted

For the sys folder, you delete the original sys folder

/stranded2/mods/strandedII/sys

Delete that folder.

Then place the folder that was in the download in the mod section.

/stranded2/mods/sys (the new one)

Be sure to create a backup of the original game however so that you can return to it after becoming bored with the mod.

This of course, is for my mod. If you want to make your own, your going to have to go to the sys section, and learn how to code.

Any further questions?

Cause if I'm not mistaken, salted meat is usually cut into thin strips, large meat is not necessarily thin.

Most likely there will never be such a merger, Builder has a very specific. (You can't take any of my models) attitude. And I'm the exact opposite. you can take all my models, as long as you post in the credits that they were made by me or, put them in a graphics folder saying that they were made by me.

The scripts that I make are also free for distribution as long as my name is in the credits as the maker of the scripts...

You can see where there would be problems, however I do hope to make my mod as good if not better then Massive mod.

In the future I plan to institute a similar way of feeding a fire... that will hopefully be even more realistic then massive mod.

I also plan to in the future make a type of mine, its doubtful though wither or not you'll be able to go underground. But who knows, the future is without restrictions.

When you download my mod, there are two folders, one's called sys, you OVERWRITE the sys folder in the original stranded 2.

And the second one is called Lion_Hearted. You just take that folder, and copy it to the gfx folder. if you try dumping my graphics into the mix with DC's graphics then you will encounter problems because all my items and models and etc are made to search for the models in gfx/Lion_Hearted/ (model)

Did you do that?

Lion_Hearted, why don't you just make a complete mod folder which people can put right next to the original S2 mod folder after extracting it, this might result in less confusion for people who don't now anything about how to install a mod correctly.

OK!

I want to do something for my mod, I know I had piles of plans, but I don't feel inspired enough to do them...

I want to know what the community wants...

So,

I will provide 10 things in my next update that the community wants, you can ask for anything from animated units, to scripts.

But only 1 animated unit is allowed, and thats the first one.

Of course, this is my mod, so if I find your idea somewhat unsatisfactorily I'll tell you, and exclude it... Ideas! 10 ideas, each person can present a max of 3 ideas, while you let others fill in the rest...

Put numerical values on your idea, if the first person that responds to this thread has an idea, he has to place it like this...

(blah blah blah)

#1 longer days

#2 new unit whatever...

the next person will pick off from where the first person ended...

(blah blah)

#3 fireplace needing fed...

So, fire away your ideas! After the number 10 has been reached, all further ideas will be rejected unless I say one of those numbers are worthless...

1 >Bow Saw? it can damage the trees faster but a lil less damage. (still remember playing AoE II)
2 >Insect parts in trees (because in trees you can find ants in real life)
3 >lions move faster than the player (a lion runs fast)
4 >dogs or something new unit (let it be yours. )
5 >forge (I loved the forge system in massive mod, but it was a little buggy)
6 >terraforming, but it will be a little hard (just like Minecraft, under dirt you can find stone and stuff)
No more, keep it up.
I will help at the debugging of course.
