Perhaps a option for the flashlight then, like possibility to make it go over or under the walls. I prefer the flashlight to go under the walls though. Or even better it could be a curtailed flashlight that would make it seem more realistic, then there is no need for this option perhaps. Just like how the curtailed explosions work when it comes to HE's. The same way the flashlight should work that's what I'm saying. There are still workarounds for the flashlight, so no worries. I'd love if a internal flashlight was implemented into CS2D though, it'd be fun, useful, similar to CS 1.6, CS:S and most of all it would be quite epic.

In general of you do add it you could make the M249 lighter & do slightly less damage while the M60 would have the same weight as the current M249 & slightly more damage. It would balance the game a bit more.

I can also create the drop, use, & menu models for it if you don't want to waste time on that.

Its a cut weapon like the gas mask idea of mine earlier but unlike that I cant simply make a new weapon with lua so thus im hoping that you will seriously consider adding it either as a buy-able weapon for T. team alone, both CT & T teams, or as a stand alone non buy-able weapon like the flame thrower, RPG, grenade launcher, exc.

IF added its stats should be similar to the M249. It should have the same accuracy (bullet spread) & weight. The rate of fire should be a little over half of the m249 which fires at 750-1000 RPM while the M60 is 500-600 RPM. The M60 would also do more damage since it fires a bigger bullet the NATO 7.62x51mm as opposed to the m249 which fire the smaller NATO 5.56mm round. It uses either 50 or 100 round ammo belts sometime contained in canvas or metal boxes.

So in summery here is what I think the M60 should be like roughly.

R.O.F. = a little over half of he current m249
weight = same as the current m249
accuracy = same as m249
damage = greater than the m249 (20 or 25)
reload time = roughly the same as the m249
ammo = 50 or 100 per mag with 200 or 300 in reserve.

If something like this is done than DC could also slightly decrease the current m249s weight for the sake of balance & the fact that the m249 (a LMG) is lighter than the m60 (general purpose medium MG)

The M60 if made to be buy able would be more expensive than the m249 (roughly about $6000-$6250) & available to both teams.

The M60 never actually was playable in any Counter-Strike version/game (except in the SINGLEPLAYER only game Condition Zero: Deleted Scenes) so there is no real reason to add it.

I dont need your opinion, I respect your Idea, you respect my idea too,

no knife is a good idea for jail maps in my opion!, if you dont like it,dont comment,too easy

DC himself already talked about this in a previous post (I'm sure it was before you even registered in this forum) and he concluded that he won't give any kind of support to unofficial game modes such as jail, roleplay, etc.

Done, now you have accomplished that thing you wanted to do without bothering DC about adding a new entity.

IE When a soldier NPC entity is player the player can use its menu to change the different aspects that the soldier can spawn with.

For example

Health
Speed
Primary weapon
Secondary weapon
Wrench & ability to build yellow neutral buildings
Armor (be it kevlar or the stealth suit)
& the ability to choose which faction its friendly or hostile to like CT, T, zombies, vortigaunts, snarks, headcrabs, other soldier NPCs who aren't on the same team, exc. The default should be neutral IE hostile to all.

In this way the soldier can become a universal & versatile human NPC with almost limitless uses. Different skins can be used for different faction soldiers which in general = 3, 1 for T, 1 for CT, & 1 Neutral.

On another note the drop knife idea is good but it should be made optional via the game menu with the default CS2D melee weapon to spawn with being the knife. As with the soldier NPC it would made CS2D more versatile & mod friendly.
