So I just play recently on dust2 or dust tiled maps. And The GUI is yellow, so I cant read it, and its very annoying if u don't know how many hp/ammo left. Is there any way to change the color of it, or it's really hard-coded to the game? It would be cool if I could use green HUD ( Like at HL1:OpFor ) or blue, or whatever.

Aww. You don't understand me. The image in the folder is with grayscale. And at the game, black=transparent, white=recoloring it to yellow, then use it as GUI.
I meant I just keep my original gui IMAGES and making them green somehow IN GAME.

@Refresh: Do you mean the tiles or the GUI(Graphical User Interface) I'm a bit confused. I want to tell you that it's fully possible to change the color of the menu at least, just go to Options, and there will be like a advanced tab with some values on to it the RGB(Red, Green, Blue) values in numeric, so basicly if you want a black menu just type in the numeric values ([0,0,0] = black) or in it's own seperate respective field. because it's additive color mixing and if you mix some numbers from 0-255 it will give you a different color.

About the tiles you can modify them and recolor them using a programme such as Adobe Photoshop or The GIMP, I recommend The GIMP because it's free and doesn't take up so much harddrive space, whilst the Adobe products usually cost a bit you could either download a trial or buy the product. I hope I have answered your question.

What he means ( for all you very stupid people that think he is talking about the menu's and shit ) is that he is playing the game and the HUD is invisible becuase of the color! Unfortunatly there is no way to do this ( well, i do not know of a way ), unless you have some time for searching hex values and possibly messing up the executable by trying to edit the color which is programmed into CS2D. Hopefully there is another way, though.

Hud symbols are white as file, but are coloured yellow in-game. I don't think you can change the colour of the Hud by a legitimate way. (Or perhaps Lua, but I don't know what the limits are of that, I personally don't think so.) Hex editing, changing meta numbers and value strings, nope that won't work too, probably because of 'corrupting' the file.

You'll probably end up using the default colour, however you can change symbols !
