* Well, of course, one box may effect 2 or 3 blocks.

160*160 block size:
Shadow Layer ~= 2kb
Light Layer ~= 1.5kb
So, both layers (48 images) would take about 84kb with 20*15 tiles map size.

I'll try to implement this method during further versions.
For now, I've driver problems that concerns Windows Vista and Win7.

as for light from different entities interfering, then you need 2^n sets of small images where n is the number of entities in the group.

so if u have m independent groups of n entities (close together), you only need 1 large static image and m*(2^n) sets of small images.

with your way, there would be 2^(m*n) sets of large images

Example: my zm_toxic_house - you dont need any images behind floors. You dont need spend memory to darkness.

That's already included in several ways.
When you're exporting, you can select only part that you need (house floor, ect)
Other option is to make objects that disables shadows and lights effect for certain area.

At the moment, I'm pretty busy with my band... So, I might delay release for several days.

It's 4 hours for me though.

Do not push me, I'll do it as soon as I can.
I'm working with Shadows and Lights at the moment.
Thus, the problem with Vista and Win7 is solved.

I just rewrite most of the lights generation code.
