Well, I have had way worst. I have had the Anti-Malaware on my PC and when I did my scan just to check I had around 100-120 infections.

On my old pc "MalwareSpy" or something said there were 1741 viruses, including 1011 malware things and 50 rootkits

----

That's funny cause McAfee told me there was much much more.

Even funnier is that my new pc has the exact ammount of viruses (according to MalwareSpy) as my previous shit computer.

I'm pretty sure that my PC has shittons of viruses.

I also have shittons of antivuris softwares installed, like Avira, AVG Antivirus, Norton, and a few others. And they don't pick up ANYTHING.

ANYTHING AT ALL.

All at once? I've never managed that without breaking my computer.

A while ago my PC (desktop computer) that runs Windows XP got infected by some kind of ActiveX virus, that virus force closed my internet connectivity indefinitely after either 5 or 30 minutes. I was forced to reboot to restore connectivity. It was one bad virus. I had to format my PC to get rid of it completely now the PC works again. I still do not know where I had gotten this infection. Presumably it was from virus advertisements when I was browsing. That's my conclusion.

Also don't rely on online scanners, they are not accurate nor do they provide real scan results, instead it'll give you more viruses. Be aware of the problems. Use AVG or other Anti-Virus software to protect your PC's.

Ever tried using Safe Mode to scan?

The most viruses I've picked up from one scan is 13. The only other time I've gained a load of "viruses" was when AVG decided to scan tracking cookies.

Quoted for truth.

@satan666, not really. Mines working great dunno what's wrong with the one you tried.

My security [still] consists of:
eset nod32,malwarebytes pro,zonealarm pro,on-scan superantispyware.

Haven't gotten a virus in a while now.

I don't use online scanners btw.

Best scanning: Connection down->scan

One day i was in my aunt's house, and i decided to make a virus scan (boredom), and then, AVG Antivirus detected AVG.exe as a virus and just stopped working from that time... for obvious reasons.

So i changed to ESET NOD32 5 and ever got any problem.

Nope.avi
I can choose which programs I want to run at bootup, so having multiple installed programs isn't the problem lol.
