More good maps are made every week, but i've seen only same old maps for like YEAR in the serverlist. Don't they never get old? Would you like to try more new maps? Lots of work go wasted in my opinion. New maps aren't played.
I hope servers' admins would try some unseen maps on their servers

ps:I know this is useless thread but i just share my thoughts

yeah same with skins. Some peoples think the unreal software skin uploading is jut a stupid race or something. They care just about a rating. I dont care what rating i got (well i cre if i got 2 or less) but i am happy when i got at least 20 downloads.

And yes peoples cant use they're maps due to cs2d server problem making.

they say thereis 99% chance you can run server but i think the chance is just 40% cuz there is mutch users on server who says that thjey cant host servers too.

those people just don't manage to setup their router/firewall correctly.

EVERYONE (yes, 100%) who is able to play CS2D online is also able to host - with the right settings.

Hmm I tried but failed to change my settings correctly. And I'm going to university so I think you can't expect the average player to get their settings right.
Anyways, if you have made a nice map than you should find yourself a server host for it. Either you can submit it to a clansite or to www.cs2d.nl or any other server host. If your map is really that good it might get hosted. I'm more than willing to host good maps on the cs2d.nl servers, but they have to be really good to attract players of course.

If noone is willing to host than you can always host yourself, but its gonna cost you some money. Either server rental or let your mum and dad pay the electricity/upload costs from your secretly hosted server xD.

I enjoy trying out a new map. If it's awesome, I try to get in contact with the creator and suggest new add-ons for it.

But, if it's some generic "happy town" map, I will completely ignore the server that's hosting it.

This is, 100%, positively, the one and only true, truth!!!
I configured my router and firewall, and I can host in both CS2D and CC
