the most strange thing is that some of them dont work and some of them do... for example Half-Life 2 - it requires a NVIDIA GeForce videocard right? I dont have that kind of videocard. My videocard is a Via Chrome 128MB that means its lower in graphics and etc. But for some strange reason Half-Life 2 works...maybe with a LOT of glitches but still works. Then there is Team Fortress 2... think of it kinda less graphic requirements maybe more... but it seems not to work and always asking for a Directx 8.1 so that i can run it even if i have the latest version. Now the MOST strange part is Left 4 Dead it wont work it asks for a GeForce videocard but Left 4 Dead 2 wont ask for it and it will run (GLITCHED) like Half-Life 2... So how to hell can i run all these games if my card is 100% lower in graphics and etc.
I even downloaded GTA 4 demo version and it was working (MAAAAASIVE glitches) but working...

I also tried updating my VC but it always says its updated to the maximum (no it its not updating automaticly)
Also i have been searching on google for typical problems and they say that Via Chrome CANT run Age of mythology without massive glitches so Half-Life 2 is defenetly OUT of the question... but i seem to be able to run it.

I also noticed that Warcraft 3 has more graphic requirements than C&C Generals (zero hour)
but it runs FINE without lags, bugs, glitches BUT C&C Generals (zero hour) seems to be lagging when i run it...

So i kinda dont understand my videocard is lower in graphics i only have 128MB but i can run Hard Core games?

There aer VERY few games which actually NEED a nvidia geforce. Most only recommend using one. So you can always play them with ATI or even Via graphic cards.

TKd is right, they never say you absolutely HAVE to use a NVIDIA graphics card, they just recomend it becuase, as you said, there are MASSIVE glitches on slower cards. By thee way if I ma typing funny, it's because there is a whacked error on thjis page for some reason ( i think it is because im using a very old verion of IE, i am updating windwos and stuff ). ) But im cool with it becuase my make-shift wireless card ( about 99.99999% DIY too ) is working Too me ages to solder the thing together, i love all things electronic.

You ran the demo, not the game
maybe his PC isnt all that good
You ran it with lags and that is common but I think 128mb is too low to even run the menu for GTA 4

Yes, 128mb can run stranded II and CS2D and stuff like that fine, but GTA 4 is a HUGE game, needs lots RAm too. But that may also be, maybe he has less RAM than you? Who knows, maybe urs is better after all
