My Tip:
1. In order to switch weapons faster and with the least hassle, I suggest replacing the default switch weapons button (Q) to either Space or Shift.

2. Study the trrain of the map and soon you will know all tactics where you oponent may go.

When playing in small maps than use M3!!!
Otherwise, it's best to use M4A1 or AK-47, the famas' burst also works a bit like an M3!
really trust me it easy to learnhow to play 2d games. But 3d game like cs 1.6 is really about skills becouse you need to try aim on head not at body. Other play who got better skills and aim on head can own you sooner than you own him by aiming on body but aiming on head takes type, refley and skill.

i naturally know play cs2d i player it week adn i was like pro....well not like pro but i was more than average player

Well, I wouldn't really say 'luck'. If this game was due all to luck and nothing else, poor players will be average or professional and the professionals will be average or poor in a day or so.

Heheheh...I say you this...if you learn to play with M3 than cant kill you any!!! And AWP or Scout are really good too and just they can kill any with M3...but not always
Ye ur totaly right, I learned to Spin trought M3 (Realy usefull to spin)
and i learned to aim good trought AWP
