i managed to get a server up...but only if i ran the dedciated server thingy, and when i close it the server will go down?

Is there anyway for me to run the server like..for ever with out useing the dedicated.bat thingy...Just like some of the [lag] clan servers if ya get what i mean
AND yes i have been to the cs2d site to read it and it dosent help? dose anyone know

You need a server which is running 24/7. You can do this by taking out an old pc and let it run 24/7 with the dedicated.bat or you need to buy a v-server/root server
