well i've tryed to create a server ( but it only show's on lan )

this you can change with www.dyndns.org . There you will get a URL which links to your ip. Now you've got to get the tool/client which is somewhere on the site, if you don't find it, search for dyndns updater client in google.
This tool you download and install.
Then you have a normal IP (Which is not important if your friends join by the server list!, its only important if they join by direct IP, but i don't know if direct join already works with dyndns.


on standard settings its UDP 36963

yes. with the router you have to FORWARD port 36963 to your pc.
how this works, noone can say to you, because it's different in every router. Just watch your manual

you need to go to the page of your router.
normaly its:
xxx.xxx.xxx.1
like if your lan/wlan ip is:
192.168.2.3
then your router has:
192.168.2.1

did you try to turn off the lan setting when you started the game? seriosly you have a big problem with your lan settings

read www.cs2d.com/faq or search the forum. there are very many people having the problem. it's asked very frequently here.

Find out the type of your router, do some searching and find out how to login and change the settings to set up a DMZ server, take down certain parts of firewall or forward port 36963.

i did it, it's on the server list, i will now try to find out if it works fully!......

lol 25 minutes after i found out one suddenly joined my map ( witch is big ) well now i have changed the map to the laser
and ppls is totally killing me in it, and i love it!
