Hey guys , im planning to buy a new processor.
I found this one - intel core2duo e7400 2.8ghz for $90 is that a good price?
What games it can play with a 1gb hd4670 graphich card?
I think any processor is better. You could buy a cheap one with at least 512MB which might play some great games, or buy a really expensive one for 2GB which is supposed to handle great games, or buy one for 1GB which plays most games.
Anyways I think 90 dollars is a fair price for a 1GB processor.
It doesnt matter how much VRam a card got. It matters whatthe parts inside can do like Frquenzies and Clock rates. Aswell as the Number of CUDA Cores on Nividia ones...
Also, the processor for 90$ is bullcrap. 60$ on it and I could get four times the Power: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 2.6Ghz 6 cores.... just an example, but srsly. 90 bucks for such crap? No Thank you...
EDIT:
Btw be aware to Handle your processor right. If it falls down you probably bent the pins located below it like me....
well.. if you got the Money I would tell you to buy all your parts new and assemble it but... Well your searching for a processor. I would recommend it then to you BUT NOT FOR THAT PRICE. Get it cheaper. 80$ or less should be okay in my opinion

Of course that price is better, but you can't find it that way on a legal and safe site.
It really matters how fast it clocks right? My cpu is ~3.2ghz with 3 cores, does that mean it's 3.2*3 since it's 3 cores? Is it better to have more cores or faster speed?

sure you got 3 cores? and not 4?
Well a Processor with more cores can do his math stuff on each core individually. means Core #1 does this Core #2 does that and Core #3 is actually busy rendering a game or such for example
Yeah, each core can simultaneously pay attention to one concurrent thread at a time, and it iterates through all threads running very quickly. A game that's not multithreaded will only make use of one core, but most games are multithreaded. Clock speed is how fast your internal clock ticks and runs through the dyes on the processor. 3.2 Giga Hertz is 3.2 Billion (Giga) times a second. However, clock speed isn't everything. A Pentium D @ 2.4ghz might be slower than a Core 2 Duo @ 2.2ghz, because Core 2 Duo dyes were so much more efficient than Pentium D dyes.
