I got my high school diploma ("Abitur", german university entrance qualification) in march 2007. Afterwards I fullfilled my 9 months of military service and now (since april 2008) I'm studying computer sciences.

Thus, I very highly doubt that the cartoon face of the gray-bearded scientist on the homepage is meant to be a depiction of DC himself.
this is "the prof" (professor) and he is just a fictional character. he stands for intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, experience but also insanity (as the slobber suggests...) and chaos (messy hair).
he likes people who post intelligent and useful stuff but he hates idiots, spammers and flamers. furthermore he has magical powers and curses everyone who doesn't obey the rules of Unreal Software...
