is it posible to allow one to choose the specific difficulty for their game....meaning something like.....lets say i want to play on hard but don't want to deal with food poisoning.....or something else or wahtever.
would it be possible to make it so that u can turn off certain things like food poisoning and farming....but to keep the difficulty fair u would only be able to disable a certain number of things.....ex..on easy lets say u can disable all things but one......on medium, everything but two....on hard....everything but three...(not sure what else there is but i thing the realism things are farming, food poisoning,no fresh water on map,mabey fuel for the fire) mabey u could also add a higher difficulty that must have all of em....also for the abover to work you might need to screw around with the game start button... like making it not work until the required amount of uhhh.....realism is met for that difficulty.......

is that possible?

Any possibility of a -win batch file for it too? Playing this on my 19 inch widescreen monitor fullscreen hurts the eyes =(

i have a problem, i have done everything well up to now but ever since i entered my mine, how the hell do i leave? i cant find an exit or anything remotely exit like i have tried shrinking all of the rocks but i always die of thirst before i get through them, is that how you get to the exit? dig through all of the stones that shrink?

yeah i've had that problem, i think its a bug on builders part. i would suggest loading a previous save, or just like... start over, its a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad bug.

I've found and fixed a bug when trying to use "oil" (from shark) as fuel. You can't add the oil as fuel.

To fix this go to the \sys\objects_buildings.inf file and add "4871," to the following lines for each of the torch and campfire entries

I've really been enjoying your mod and see that it is still being developed. I would like to know if it is possible to take a building or structure apart and regain some of the materials used to build it. If not could this be implemented in future versions. Basically I want to take a shelter that I don't need anymore apart to help build some new objects at another location. Could this be done?

There is already a tent, which can be deconstructed on use

I already knew about the tent. What I would like to do is take old buildings that I don't need apart to help build new ones. For example: If I could take a wood storage apart to help build something else on the other side of the island.

It's AMAZING!

You made it really challenging,and I really enjoy playing it much more now that I must work harder to keep alive

And Forging is so fun!

However I do believe I have the over burning glitch and I can't use the patch cause it doesn't go there anymore

Also, are there any newer versions besides those on the front page?

Because, um, on my game the lions (who now number about now patrol almost all the island D8

I could handle it before but now they wander into my camp, even though it's REALLY far away from them Dx

But seriously, AMAZING MOD!

This was what I originally had in mind. To reclaim materials from structures that are no longer needed. As to the idea that the materials reclaimed at a reduced percentage is something I had considered but neglected to mention. The reduced materials would definitely be more realistic (materials altered in the building process would be unusable for other projects). I don't think this hurts the usability of the tent as long as the percentage of reclaimed materials is kept low enough.

I can't make iron nails, i already throw some water to the batch of nails after I heat it but then nothing happen with batch of nails

Be sure to use right click with the FULL clay bucket! Water bottles do not work...

I saw how you are able to fix the burn script manually, is this also possible with the lions? If so, please tell me! They are keeping me from playing this wonderful mod D8

Well, not really a fix, but what you can do to keep lions away (actually, it will keep anything with AI away > all units)

Just find a base position, then save your game.
Then, change your "safename.sav" into "safename.s2"
Open it with the editor, then add a "AI info" (first open "infos" then near bottom right) in the center of your base.
Clicking on it will open its menu, here choose a radius. (trial and error, just make sure it covers your base+something extra)
Press the √ near the right bottom and check if the radius is big enough.
If it isn't, try a bigger radius.
If it is, open the menu of the AI info again and there is:
Attract
and
Distract
Select "distract" and save it.
Then change the "safename.s2" file into a "safename.sav" file again.
Then you can just load the game and play on.

Also! I was wondering a few things.

A) How does one prospect?
B) How do I make steel (the coal is described as being able to make steel but I can't figure out how n-n;)
C) Is there any use for Gold in this game?
D) What is the point of the pottery skill o0? You can't seem to make any pottery other than the bucket and bottle x3
E) How does one salt/smoke meat? It's supposed to be in a diary entry but I can't find it D8
F) Why does dry cocoa weigh more than twice as much as the cocoa fruit itself?
G) I think there might be a bug with axe breakage, it breaks WAY too often.
H) I think turtles should drop shells you can fill with water~
I) I'd really like to be able to tame more animals besides the monkeys~ Kiwi breeding is all well and good, but being able to breed them activly (maybe for more productivity?) would be fun.

Anyways! Sorry for being so long winded
