I figured you already downloaded it, however, here is the link again.

1. Download
2. Copy the File you downloaded to your Stranded II Directory
3. Execute the file
4. Press the Button right of the Editbox (should be labeled with something like Install)
5. Execute the File S2Ext.exe. It will start the mod.

To Change from window to fullscreen mode, execute the file /mods/S2Ext/tools/startcfg.exe. Perhaps you should also delete the file language.lng and rename the file english.lng to language.lng to get a localized config.

However, there are some nasty bugs in the current release. You'll need to download a patch .
Copy the downloaded file to /mods/S2Ext/sys and unpack it.

Well i have a question about in-game, my German one (lol) is a little rusty but what is the turtle shell building with the spears do? I think it has something to do with water.

it's a rain catcher. See it as some sort of buildable water stone (not fountain!)

alt Translation?

Bizzl, any chances for Extension Mod translation? Do you at least have someone for the job?
And, one more question - as I see it, to get everything what Ext. has to offer you need a special map. Maps designed for Stranded II doesn't have i.e. copper.
I'm just unlucky to find Stranded II soon after release, I'm sure we'll be swimming in English mods next September.

yes, the use most of the benefits you have to use S2Ext Maps.
Random Islands already contain most new stuff, of course

Amount of text to translate isn't huge, I just need to take a careful look into files, and figure out what needs to be translated. Then I need either convince a German literate friend to do the job or prepare a script and pay for translation.
Seems like a one day job for a motivated individual, unless I'm overlooking something.
What's your thoughts on that?

A motivated person could do it in two to three days, but he/she should wait till the german users found most bugs and get a snapshot with fixtures

That's true, but do you plan to finish this mod anytime soon? I don't mind working with the current snapshot, and after some time make an update. I think there will be always some bugs and things to improve, do you really think this is reasonable to wait with translation?
I've just called a friend, who is willing to spare some time, and next weekend we could meet and try to translate a current version of Ext. Mod. If you say this really would be a waste of time, I'll put this on hold.
