I have read all of the forum, and all the spoilers and done all of the suggests but still having problems on 2nd island (with the Pirate) finding the teleport stone or making it work.
Could there be someting wrong with my version

Re: "I'm stuck / how to do XY" threadI'm poisoned, tried a variation of herbs and found no cure, and I figured out how to cheat to leave my self invulnerable (until I can find a cure).
I seriously need help to get off this 1st island. I can't take this anymore. I've been circling for far too long and it's just giving me a headache now.
Is there a cheat to skip onto the next island? Or to give me the blasted parrot that the pirate is asking for?
- Make some health potions (gold herb or strong healing herb or healing herb, combined with water and stone), they heals you of all bad conditions
- Parrots sit on big mountains
- Parrots have own spawn in the centre of the island

When I have a weapon on my hand how can I remove it and pass to normal hand?
Nervemind, I found out how. Just scrolling the mouse up or down.
Is there something I'm meant to do to cook meat? Do I need to craft some kind of pot or something? I searched for the answer but didn't find any...
(If anyone wonders, I haven't modded or added any cheats or anything into the game).

Try this modstarter. It doesn't look as nice as stealths, but it works Mod starter wont start, it says "Unexped error occured when running the game."

stand close to a fire, go into your rucksack, next select the meat and then press 'E'. that will do it. I'm trying to cook meat on the camp fire. The fish is frying, no problem, but whenever I try to fry the meat (small AND large) it just ends up getting thrown even when it's directly above the fire.
Is there something I'm meant to do to cook meat? Do I need to craft some kind of pot or something? I searched for the answer but didn't find any...

Actually pressing E anywhere near the fire just brings up a popup about the fire and doesn't cook anything at all.
you have to do it in your rucksack because taking the meat into your hand and pressing 'E' will of course open the popup about the fire and not cook anything at all

I didn't have this on my old laptop (which was way worse then this laptop) and didn't have this on the current laptop either, untill today.

hey all, love this game, but I'm having some trouble.
I didn't have this on my old laptop (which was way worse then this laptop) and didn't have this on the current laptop either, untill today.
whenever I swim under water, the game lags HORRIBLY, the FPS is around 3-5 then and well, it's annoying since I want to fish for food!

umm.... system specs plz
and most probably disable the high settings
video card: Mobile Intel 965 express chipset family
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
this laptop runs GTA: SA at medium settings @ 20fps, even underwater, but on SII underwater it gives me 2fps now.
do you have direct x installed?
