Go to google, type upload images, and search one that you like, then upload with size you want, then open image in new tab, then copy link and type in forum thread:

There's a few ways you can do it, user Phaenutz.
By typing out one of these forum codes and you'll get a link.
It's rather simple after you've tried doing it.

What you're saying about uploading images, you can do it externally via imageshack or other image hosting such as tinypic and post them here for various reasons but yeah... just good luck learning these.
