EpicCrisis: Kevlar is really bulletproof, I don't think law enforcement is really dumb enough to wear a useless suit just because it makes them look more like law enforcement. In my opinion, kevlar can withstand several bullets without killing its wearer, but I think that kevlar is not COMPLETELY bulletproof that it can withstand a shotgun at point blank range or a high caliber bullet. Unless people use armor piercing rounds on kevlar, they could protect the wearer from hollow point rounds and small arms fire.
There has been some scientist and engineers that working on some confidential goverment design that resembles the scales of a dragon.
I am more interested in the magnetic armor they made or working on. It has been a while since I heard of both armors, but don't rage on me if any information is outdated or incorrect. So don't be a kid raging he thinks he knows it all, ok? Cause thats annoying.

The radiation wouldn't stay that long and they could food and supplies after they built the shelters' interior and exterior.
