Now left 4 dead has way better gameplay, not the best graphics, but a nice gameplay.
left 4 dead is based on survival, but at the same time, adventure. in left 4 dead you can play in various maps, campaings, can play in versus, survival, and you can create your own campaings, maps, etc. etc.

I see you didn't play Killing Floor at all.
You probably just watched a youtube gameplay.
Killing Floor and Left 4 Dead are completely different styles, the only thing that they have in common is that you have to kill... zombies? (They aren't zombies in any of the games anyways) and that both games encourage teamplay.

And he's saying that there's a similar zombie, mutators, whatever in Killing Floor, but with a mini gun and stuff like in Resident Evil.
Just by looking at the boss in the game, you can tell that it is way more awesome.

He has a goddamn minigun and a rocketlauncher on top!
I like its storyline, of 8 survivors (4 from L4D1 and another 4 from L4D2) that are immune to "The Infection", aka "The Green Flu" that battle through zombies that want to kill and infect (instead of typical ones that want to eat, these ons just bite to infect).
And it doesn't has any resemblance with nemesis for RES.
A tank-class would be silly and totally unbalanced because saving ammo is essential in this game.
Unlike L4D, where you can spend lots of ammo to kill lots of weak zombies or to kill some stronger ones because you're some sort of Rambo that can carry around 128 shotgun shells.
I'd say L4D is heavily action-oriented while Killing Floor focuses more on teamplay and survivalism.
@Rodrigo: I think Killing Floor's story line is rather sci-fi with no fantasy. If I recall correctly, you can find the story line in the KF wiki

I like Killing Floor because you have more fun, more difficulty when with people. While in L4D A.I. zombies looks so f****** dumb trying to tell us to kill them.
left 4 dead is just shot n kill, take the pill game. Team work in left 4 dead is not inportant as in killing floor. In killing floor if you dont work as team you can survive max 2 or 3 rounds. I played killing floor for year and planing to start again.
Now left 4 dead. I played both. They are both good but not as good as killing floor. Left 4 dead is just more action where 4 survivors can take out 1000 zombies. I dont say killing floor is realistic but killing floor wins this one.

How is it a classic? I mean, it was released in late 2009, right?
The retail KF was released in mid 2010, which was based-off of an earlier 2006 mod.
