DC hat geschriebenyou are right. I think chances are very high that Apple would decline a Counter-Strike 2D in their appstore due to licensing and stuff. this would mean much money and development time for nothing. I'm surely not going to try it.

Good I wouldent eather, also I kinda went in to a hate-fuled rant mode there...Also if anything, start with make a homebrew for DS, PSP, maybe you could move on to the Wii Shop if they'd let you, I know I'd start useing, my Wii aguin if you made anything for it

I like that idea, then you could send your map to your PC with bluetooth or email. "CS2D Map Viewer/Editor"
way #1: DC gives source code of CS2D (or only of map editor) and community (I :D) makes editor way #2: DC makes it, code is secret[EDIT] I am near 100% sure that DC won't show source code and won't make editor for mobiles and this great idea will fail.
that's not what I ment...IF, DC ever wanted to try to make a mobile game, he could probly use the map editor source code from the MAC version of CS2D, since the format for both iPod/iPhone/iPad are the same as the MAC format for programs. (*.app) I'm assuming that the code would be similar to each other. So that would mean it sould be a side project, like Minigolf Maddness was. DC hat geschriebenyeah.. you need to pay yearly if you want to release your stuff in the apple appstore (which is the only good way to release your stuff for iphone/ipod/ios)
android market has much better conditions. you only need to pay once (and less).

I already said that. DC won't make it for jb devices.
