its your deceason, also i spoted that when playing zombie mod the server each round always types that player was moved to zombies or survivors, it floods the server. Also is it passible to encrypt map? just to protect it from editing?

Zombies having night vision? Im very interested in this idea as well as the darkness in maps. So zombies having night vision, that would mean their eyes are extra sensitive right? Well if a zombie were in a pretty lit room with bright sprites, that would screw around with his vision a lil right (in other words blinding him)? So Im thinking here, if a survivor flashes a flashlight at a zombie, shouldnt that blind him?


Also zombies should be able to change the colour of their vision just like a laser can change the colour of the laser beams.

nice thoughts but this goes a bit too far
cs2d doesn't even have a real light system so the game doesn't know which places are bright and which are dark.

it will just be like regular nightvision just glowing yellow/red. I already realized it and I'm probably not going to change it that much.

With the voting system, let's say "Bob" wants to kick "Fred" and if i want him kick aswell i gotta go to "V" find his name, click "Vote Kick" instead of wasting 10 seconds on finding who your gonna kick, why not make a simple "Agree" or "Disagree". Example "Page Up = Agree" "Page Down = Disagree".

Oh and DC, could you ban ADONRADON from the master server. He constantly keeps manipulating the game, now we got him spreading hacks to everyone.

Currently right now, it's just boring. Zombies need to be faster

Nooo. not again someone who wants zombies to get faster.... I had to change the maptime on the server where i'm admin from 5 to 3 minutes, because the zombies won too often. Zombies are fast enough, if the survivor runs away, someone has to get from behind. if zombies would get even faster, zombies would win EVERY time!

Zombies don't need another melee attack besides claws and a machete they can weild.

Zombies also dont need to be faster because they are dangerous enough when they en masse. If there are more survivours than zombies in a server and zombies aren't able to claw or kill anyone, then I think thats the map's problem. Zombie maps aren't good if theres too much wide open space because that makes zombies too vunerable to be shot at and nowhere for them to hide or take cover.

Btw DC, I did a little experimenting and I'd like you to take a look at these pictures relating to my previous post.

Depends on your damage. I have it on 0.5 instead of 0.3. Makes a big difference.

I heard from some people that zombies are going to be able to pick up machete in the next version. I think its a good idea.

Sure they can! Haven't you seen the movie Land of the Dead? I mean come on, a zombie is no different than a noob's first time playing CS2D. Both are stupid, but they can still learn how to use weapons. But of course, zombies SHOULD NOT be able to pick up weapons (including shield) that they can throw, drop (mine), build (wrench) or shoot with. Zombies weilding machete is just as fun as a zombie jabbing a straw in a guy's decapitated head to suck out his brains.

But I have overlooked something! If all the zombies use machete to kill the survivours, then no survivour will get infected because only claws can infect a survivour. So if you changed your mind DC, each time a zombie kills a survivour with machete, it should infect the survivour.

How about in next of cs2d make a map protection from editing? i think it would be right that only map creators could edit their own maps
