lol, graphic card is definately not the problem... i can run cs2d perfectly on this comp, but i could with the older one. IIt was CRAp its true, but this is happening in too many computers, i know people who have good computers and still, cant run the game. Im starting to think this is somekind of bug in the game? I mean, i know someone who has a 128mb video card and 1.4ghz processor and 256mb, not the best computer in the world, but i think its more than enough to run cs2d...? And dont bother trying to recommend driver upgrades, directx and stuff, because i reinstalled this person's computer personally, and i am completely sure everything is up-to-date.

7600 GS has directx 9 compatible and it's speed is 667Mhz.
7600 GT has also directx 9 compatible and it's speed it's 1100 Mhz.

they are almost same, but gt is better one.

true point is that it is impossible to get some 8000 series geforce card or greater in old computer. becouse of the ports are not good enough. 8000 series or greater needs PCI-e port and these are not in old computers, which are 2004 models.

PCI-e port is mainly for computers which runs vista.

So if computer is old enough and it runs with xp it propably doesn't have PCI-e ports at all. Only latest xp computers has ddr3 memory support and they will run with 7600 gt.

If the computer is older than I said just little bit above this, I think that the computer has only ddr1 and ddr2 support and then almost best choice to graphic cards is 7600GS. Becouse simply computer doesn't work with better ones.

A 7600 is way overpowered for CS2D. I can't believe that someone has problems with an GeForce 7600. I will check the game with a few old graphiccards by time (Radeon X800XT, Radeon 9600Pro, Vodoo II)

It is not fault of the card.

You should try to install the game again on your computer if you haven't done that yet, have you?

I'm quite sure about that the problem is on between computer and game. I mean there is something in the game what the computer doesn't support.

These are follows what the games usually needs for running it:
enouhg ram
enough speed of processor
enough good graphic card
enough good sound card
enough good internet card
enough good directx
enough good power suplier for these components.
also these all have to be 100% compatible with the motherboard, otherwise it doesn't work well.

Uhm, sorry for annoying, but I got a massive problem. When I connect to any server the first ~10 seconds are kinda lagging, but after the 10th second or so it just freezes and the message on the top-left says 'Down: 3900' and 'Up: ~30'. Woot has happened over there?

@brannon: those messages can appear and you can ignore them in most cases. you receive damaged/unexpected messages by some servers in the list. maybe those servers are 3rd party servers which don't work like they should work. or there are massive connection problems so that the messages don't arrive undamaged.

@guest: I don't know. sorry.

@Branon, seems more like you've just hosted a game and lost connection with the USGN Server which means your server wasn't able to send a kill packet to the USGN Server and your server is still listed on the serverlist. You'll continue to receive those messages around 30 to a minute after your server goes down.

btw: "M-NET" stands for "MENU NETWORK". You'll only receive those while you are in the main menu (serverlist). In-game you will receive "NET" errors instead.

oh yes, it can have to do with a wireless connection.
Wireless sometimes gets lost for half a second or so, and when you shut your server down in this time, it cannot send the kill packet.
Also WLAN sometimes reconnects to your router, which can have the same effect
