I'm a lousy modeler, so i'm hoping someone here will be
willing to help.
I'm looking for several objects to put into the game and
was hoping someone here knows where to find them or
is willing to make them.

1. a storm cellar door and frame object such as can be seen here

2. A campfire with kettle hanging on a tripod.
This picture is the best i could find
as an example.
The S2 campfire could be used , along with the bamboo poles.

3. The 3rd one i'm hoping to find is best described
as a water still, which could be made with an S2
barrel whose lower half is retextured with copper
plating sitting on a fire source, connected, via a
iron or copper rod to a 2nd barrel sitting at ground level.

4.a burned out campfire, that instead of fresh wood, has
ash and blackened wood fragments.

My modling skills are pretty non-existant, so I'd
appreciate any and all help.

I found a cauldron object to use,
A nice ash texture for the campfire.
a copper texture, that i'm not happy with, but may be
usable. all I need to try the making the campfire is
a B3D -> ..... converter.

@Gregg
If get any decent results, I'll let you know.

@MrCowThing
yeah, i just spent 3 days filtering google results, 80%
of which pointed to turbosquid, i'm sick of that useless site.

@Schnapsidee
www.Blender.org is free and there's a 3rd party
B3D exporter for it. You have to use the search function
in thier forum, to find it.

If necessary I can unpack trillian.
I've been pissed at icq since they lost a password
database and refused to restore it.
one 15 year old icq number down the drain.

well i managed to make a model of a burned out camp fire, inspit of the flaws of the software.

To anyone else learning to make simple models for Stranded 2 ......
DeleD will import B3D and export it into OBJ format
correctly, but it's B3D export is crap.
And I believe it's scaling the model down to 1/10th scale,
so use an import scale of 10, instead of the default of 1.

Blender appears to be a much better tool then DeleD
and if used, don't forget to set the filepaths
to "Relative Paths Default" or your model could end up
requiring a complex texture folder arrangement.

Once edited in Blender, don't bother opening it in
DeleD, it doesn't deal with texture file locations very well
and for pete's sake don't use DeleD to export it into
B3D format.

I use the B3D exporter in DeleD and it works fine
Only thing I don't like about it is the free version doesn't support transparent textures.

the free version exported for me, but the file it makes, crashes S2.

2. A campfire with kettle hanging on a tripod.

I would create that now if there's still a demand. maybe you could make the staves out of spears instead of bamboo (only a proposal).
I could also create the other models except for the third one which I do not get because of my limited english skills

I would greatly appreciate it
I can even give you a kettle object to use.
I'm still in the early stages of the mod, so there's no real
time issues, at the moment.

A water still is the same as a moonshine still, just used
differently.
A moonshine still is used to make homemade alcohol,
which is commonly refered to as "White Lightening".
While a water still is used to change seewater into drinking water

The distiller should look like this.
Still
Still2
The log that the Bottle is stilling on has a fire in it.

lol, i saw those the other day, quit a bit of detail went
into thier carving.

The 1st picture is more accurat, because it depicts the
use of a thumper barrel to help cool the steam.
