More useful than a monkey. Can get stuff more than monkey, can store stuff in there. You can ride it, too.

Finally the robot is a bad idea I think- it's just not really that feasible, as you are trapped on an island.

The other reason for my post was this:

-Make raptors stronger, faster and scarier, but also rarer.
-Make the lion into a tiger, but make it stronger. These should travel by there selves.
-Make the lion into a weaker unit, and make it travel in packs (if possible)

Basically make the animals more life life.

The lions should be weaker but more common, the other two animals should be stronger, and the raptor should be rare. LOL
Raptor: Rare: Very Strong
Tiger: Medium: Strong
Lion: Common: Weak

But we could add new animals like wolfs tigers bears and so on.

The water distiller is a good idea, maybe it will have to be placed in water, then every day bottles of water will be produced.

Possibly put more skills like cooking and mining and allow the skills there are now to have more of an effect. Stuff along that lines... So far everything else pretty cool. Oh! one more thing! Since, multiplayer is not really a option right now that would be possible to play online. Then, how about a LAN connection? Where you can play with friends if you set it up through a modem and the Ethernet cords to your computers and modem. Like how most games have it when you want to play a game with a friend. It shouldn't be so hard to do since a lot of old games from 1990s have that option...

Right now I'm making a little extension mod, just to practice my coding skills, I've added cooking which makes it so food will have a small chance of burning at low levels, and higher levels will allow for more recipes.

Multiplayer wouldn't work with any means of connection, multiplayer just doesn't work, I've heard a couple people tried it and you couldn't see anyone else or there buildings.

EDIT:
Idea: at the monkey school have a chose to train a hunter monkey. It will follow you around and when you attack an animal it will help by attacking it too. Also the animal should prefer chasing the monkey and not you.

Hi...I'm an experienced S2 player (Not in scripts and all) and I was thinking, perhaps there could be a new S2 mod where the game will take a darker approach where the player gets stranded in another dimension with tons of advanced technology, sort of like Rise of Legends. For example, instead of a lion, we could have some kind of flaming bone creature and the player could use some of mech to blast his way through it. If possible, I hope that such a mod could be created soon.

Well, I understand what you mean and all, but it does take less effort in asking to create a mod which isn't so good to do since it just puts more pressure on the person creating mods and it takes a lot more effort to do one themselves. Which would you rather do? Less effort or a lot more effort? Yes they should learn, but it does take a lot of time and effort to learn then twice as much to actually do a mod. Even though this said, I agree with what you are stating. I myself don't want to ask for mods, but I am tempted to. I am barely trying to learn how to script, but no one seems to answer my questions. So, I am trying to self teach through other maps which is taking me even longer. With the whole idea stuff...I think it is great for people to come up with these ideas, because not everyone would think of such stuff. This ideas library is a great thread and should be read by many and posted in by more people.

I will be creating some simple maps as I learn. I will try to release these as soon as I finish them. SO look forward to my great maps being released. I will try be the first person to release many "English" maps for Stranded II. Woot!

Anyway, here goes two useless ideas....

###Wooden field trap.
Make bleeding state and does normal damage (40?) to unit who caught here.

wooden bolt x 25 (cross 5 x down 5) + gear x 2

###Iron field trap.
Make bleeding state +fracture state and does severe damage (90?) to unit who caught here.

iron bolt x 25 + gear x 2

Both close when caught something.

I don't know how to make .b3d model files, and I'm too lazy to create separate images for them, but the models make quite a lot of sense as is.

And the best bit? It's my first mod!

Stranded totally needs an addon system, so you can have lots of little modifications like this at once.
