But again other people can join it !

Ok well im guessing this is what you do...
You click >> Create game
You check >> Dedicated server
^-^-^-^ ---> [YOUR MISTAKE]
That is the mistake you are
making, do no check the
dedicated server box, that i
s only for you to like control
the server not play in it.
How about you try doing this,
Click Create game.
Type your desired Server name
Pick how many max players
Uncheck all the boxes below Max Players Bar
Ex.
Fog of war >> Uncheck
War Mode >> Uncheck
LAN >> Uncheck
Dedicated Server >> Uncheck
Click Play Game and tell me if it works
It should be working now
If it doesn't I suggest you wait for DC to help you with it, but im 99.99% sure that it will :]

.But does a black screen show up with console and it says,

And then under that it says stuff like,
Fog of war = 0/0
War mode = 0/0
etc... ???

Thats happening with me too... but few players can join it...

Maybe DC can fix it but idk....
The problem you are having is, in my perspective, this:
You created one server, you minimizes it, and then you open up another instance of the game and you can't find it there. Actually, if you put the ping to none you'll see your IP address registered to the USGN server, but if you click on it you'll get a ping time out.
My guess is that you're having 2 connections through the same port and thus you're getting the ping out, do you use a router or intermediate devices between you're connections?
(Aj) Try fixed port if its changing.... fixedport 36963

Hmm, i opened the ports like explained but when i want wo create a server, still no one can see it. I get the same USGN error message and if i look at the ip on the right side of the server name it says (0.0.0.0:36963) . I guess instead of 0.0... should be my ip viewed. I did everything like it is explained in the faq but still unsuccesfull. Anyone know how to solve this problem ?

Do you have a router? If you do follow the following steps:
1. Click Start>Run
2. Type cmd, enter
3. Type ipconfig
4. Record the IP that shows up which starts with the 192.168.X.X
5. Go to your router's home page (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, try both, type them in the browser)
6. Find where it says port fowarding, then create a new one and add the IP that you've recorded, click on TCP and for the port use 80, create another port fowarding and do the same thing but this time select UDP and for the port use 36963
That should work for you.

lee many thx for your help, but i cant connect to the router website. i tried both ip's in the browser unfortunatelly the site cant be viewed
I share the internet connection with my neighbour, it goes froom his computer. Maybe thats the
reason it doesnt work ? i really have no clue.
