The current administration system is a nightmare. Yes you can do name bans, usgn bans, and ip bans, but none of these are as effective as you believe. Neither is the "anticheat" system implemented. When you really look at it, it all comes down to how effective the administration system is. A player will be less likely to hack if the admins in a server continuosly slap (very weak implementation in the current version), slay, teleport, change teams, change names, or modify other portions of the user experience (ineffective weapons, freezing, etc so other players can continuosly kill the said hacker) will make the hacker angry and thus voluntarily leave the server, rather than banning, which will prompt the hacker to return to the server as soon as possible.

This overview was tested in the 0104 servers and the results were astonishing. The original servers experienced a recidivism rate of around 50% of all hackers that were banned. Prime example would be Kira and many other "smart" hackers. However, manual administrative methods introduced in the CS2DG Dedicated servers, when used effectively, reduced the recidivism rate down to around 1 hacker in every 20, 5%. And those who do come back will only do so once and will not mind, and actually might feel relieved in, getting banned. And there are many telltale proofs of such efficacy such as screenshots showing hackers who have kpds of around 3:273 for the more stubborn hackers and 1:9 for the more common "noob" hackers who are just looking for giggles and fun.

Basically, I'm proposing on creating admin commands as well as modifiable community supported server commands as the priority of the next release in order to relieve the current influx of hackers. (Yes there are hackers, and quite a few of them as well) Not only that it will discourage people from attempting at making future hacks since they know it will be rather pointless to hack and still get kpd's around the range of 0.3 all the way to 0.01, effectively eliminating the whole purpose of hacking as a whole.

Also, I suggest using Lua as an intermediary language for the scripting environment since there is already support for lua and it's relatively easy for you to make restrictions to the scripting files. Meanwhile it will be more powerful by letting you use conditions and other higher level methods without need of native metaprogramming or self-created methods.

I said this to a while back, then Diamond commented how it was a stupid idea, unfortuantely, he failed to look at the point.

heh of course. don't take my previous post serious. the truth is that I'm planning to make server scripting possible. maybe I'll have a look at LUA (a script engine) too. I don't know.

however there are things with a higher priority right now. you'll have to wait for this feature. moreover I don't want to promise that it will be added at all.

do you smell it?! it smells like rain! a rain of bans hitting all those fools which are not able to obey some pretty simple rules.
I had to delete a couple of posts. stay on topic. I'm really pissed of when I have to delete so much junk. I also randomly deleted some posts which were no spam probably because I didn't feel like reading them

Actually it takes away 5 with Kevlar on.

But anyways, im thinking of how lee and TMK did how you can "function" controls by just typing instuff, like

@slay 4 or
@pimp/slap 4 -5 or something

Maybe later you can add this in the forward updates.

Obviously the server would check if you had the right remote! That would be absolute chaos if it didnt...

Maybe TMK can put together something like this if he hasnt already

but..

add a sv_showflag command, with 2 or 3 possible options

value 0: no flags will be shown on the radar
value 1: only the enemies flag is on the radar (optional)
value 2: both flags are shown on the radar

nothing with the respawn. only with the respawn DELAY setting. everything should work until you change it. the changed value will not be sent to clients which join afterwards. and this might lead to problems.

Ok the reason i tell this is strange when version 0104 came out everything whnt flat the game gut bugged and everything when down when 0104 was online only 4% of players where playing on the internet and the only hackers with trainer when wild on every server at 0104 was outo kick that was sorry for this word "Stupid" when 0105 came out everything whent same the a big minor bug 7%of players where playing but 5%of hackers almoust on every server but! when the 0105 came out hackers whent down on 3% and only 4%of hackers left the game on an uknown reason maybe they had old version but when 3%lets left 2%of players letf ass well becouse they where booored of the game But after 0106 came out everyone returned the hackers first whent on 12% but the normal players on 32% after a while 10% hackers stop hacking beacouse the game was new! 2%lets and then gone to 0% hackers have gonne but now with versions like 0106 0107 0108 are on the players have gone on 75 or 81 % of normal play i still think that maybe becouse of Trainers or Cheat engine or art money
7 % will returne! but with the new 0108 version with all adds like bots and kick and ban are on no hacker with a mile away will try to join a server beacouse he will get banned but even if he has anti kick anti ban he will still get killed banned or kicked! P.S i dont know a thing i said

Ok. I still think the breakables are quite boring, although they work fine but when they break up in four parts and split, that doesn't make any sense to me. In CS2D 0.1.0.4 the breakables get destroyed like they should, in my opinion. Perhaps some new things can be added like somekind of breakable animations or whatever they're called 'env_breakable' new animation types of how it'll break or get destroyed, for example if you want to make a breakable oil barrel it can't just split in four pieces that doesn't make sense. It should explode and simply disappear.

Is this beta 0.1.0.9 version the released version. I know it's shit to me say this because I'm not a game maker. But there is couple of things what would you do to CS2D. First you would modify the raining/snowing things. It's should stop raining when goining inside some place. and start raining when come out.

I started to think I would start to do CS:source graphics to CS2D. By remaking maps whit better tiles. But only a maps which are included in CS:sourse.

And there is a bug while playin CsDe maps. New name of this maps gataloge is "Other maps" they can't go to the bombzone and plant the bomb in same time than should rescue hostages. Should those things work?
