DC has said this many times. Yes CS2D max is just a tittle name for the game. The called name is just Counter Strike 2D.

None of us said that we were willing to delay development for more AI, we simply claimed how the AI could be fixed. There's no point in dropping the AI completely even if there are people who don't use it. Also, just because a few players have slow internet doesn't means that you have the ability to deny them the right to play this game. In your opinion, you take on a negative view, this makes me wonder how you would feel when you suddenly find yourself back to dial-up one day, maybe you shouldn't be allowed to play the game b/c you don't have fast internet. But hey, wut do I know, that's just my opinion.

is a complete new game...

Gee, I'm sure a new release would definitely fix this since this problem is on the server-side not the client-side
