OfflineIs there any chance to get my weapon skins into this new CS-2D version ? (like a GUI buy menu or something)

It would be nice to see some new weapons to the upgrade. Rocket launcher, maybe a second class of Lazer?

It's not only the graphics that have been changed, DC re-made the entire game. The curent cs2d is much too easy to hack, so this version has a whole new game engine, one that is much harder to hack.

I don't think the game needs any more "super weapons" for funmaps.
But one or two new normal, buyable weapons apart from the boring Galil and Famas would be nice.
For example that old soviet RPG-7 anti-tank thingy, as a one-shot weapon for the grenade slot (terrorists only). It had been planned for CS 1.6, but scrapped for some reason. I'd find it pretty cool.

Yeah. DC always says that he hasn't included that because it's fix in normal CS, but in CS you can decide how high you throw it. That's the difference, and that's why I also favour it that way.- hold mouse to throw grenade far

Rubbish. Graphics are the only part of the changes that you've SEEN so far, and that's logical by their nature. They're the graphics, after all. But the anti-cheat stuff has priority #1.

And I'm pretty sure you're also the world's best hacker and hacked onto DC's PC and saw the code for the program, therefore you logically concluded that there's no VAC-like protection in the new cs2d, otherwise you're telling us that by watching a video of someone demonstrating how to shoot and walk by themselves, you've figured out that there's absolutely no improvement to the game except a few graphics.

since the game is 2d, and top down, there is no chance of different body part damage. Consequentially, it takes away a dimension of talent out of the game and shortens the gap between being lucky and being good.
However, I think we can lengthen this gap by providing the equivalent of bod part damage in cs2d.
the suggestion:
rather simple, really. the closer the crosshairs are to the position of the player you are shooting at, the more damage is inflicted, with the most damage for each weapon caused when the crosshairs are directly over the player.
I think this is a good idea because it will add a new level of skill to be attained. there will also be a bigger gap between beginners and experts, but at the same time, it will not inrease the learning curve at all. What do you all think? How about you, DC?

But yeah, they will freeze while playing. So... it could be nice somehow if the animations could be allowed to play during gameplay for example animated spray logos.
yep. Or getting animations like fire and allkind of things.. And i know there is fire available in gen_fx if I remember right. But the point is getting differnt things. with animation. edited 1×, last 14.02.08 09:43:09 pm
