that would be awesome How about more player sprites?
The players models should be a little more animated.
Not just 1 sprite for each model. Animated movement, reloading, changing the weapon will be nice.
And perhaps a few dead body sprites that will stay on the ground when someone got killed.

But I have other suggestion, anybody here played medal of honor allied assault? There is a game mode very awsome! Freeze-Tag-Objective! Later I explain that...

I maked a little image of the "Freeze-Tag-Objective"!!! This game-mode exist in the Medal of Honor Allied Assault, I think who play know wath I mean!!! Is really awsome, is very success!!!

Ohh, and the blue and red "lasers" dont cross the wall, just floors and obstacles, as normal shot...

Because I would like to play such missions.
Maybe it shouldn't be just Counter-Strike 2D.
How about Half-Life 2D too? And add some monsters for the map editor. Seriously there must be an advanced map editor which can make maps with scripts (scenarios) and even connect two or more maps into a campaign. And multiplayer cooperative missions fighting monsters that are spawning all the time to get points.
This game is more like 2D shooter, but I want to see it as strategy too. And about the game modes if there are going to be, I would like to see if it's possible the modes from Unreal Tournament for example: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag. So it will be nice with more than two teams. Bots in multiplayer will be fun too.
-or make this: you have to click exactly in the Enemy, the crosshair have to be over the Enemy to kill him, if you dont click with the crosshair over the enemy he dont die...

if the enemy is in this line he will die... VERY EASY kill him!!
my idea is good, sniper will be more dificult
