This is really starting to annoy the #*@!^ %$#* out of me.

Every time I try to open my map, it just closes, WITH NO ERROR REPORT?!

Every time I try to make a new map, with some different settings, it just closes, WITH NO ERROR REPORT?!

The only way I can make a new map is if I just leave the settings the same and click "Okay", I can't load other tile sets like "druglab".

Help?

Other than that, I love it, it's so much easier then the cruddy in-game editor.

well the current release of the editor is an ALPHA version. alpha means that it is very unfininished, that it contains bugs and that it is unstable. there are some problems which make it crash and I did not take care of these yet but of course I'm going to fix these in future releases.
you should never expect that an alpha works to 100% because it would not be an alpha in this case.

the only suggestion I can make is to use the old editor if you are experiencing such problems with the new one until a more stable version is released.

I would, if I could actually access their pages. When I click "Download the Editor Alpha for Windows (~600 kb)", it redirects me to an error message:

Sorry, this page or file does not exist or is currently not available.

It happens with all the other links too.

I don't talk about an older version of the new external editor. this would be even worse. I speak about the editor which is integrated in cs2d.
