Hello!

So I have an idea, but not sure if it can be done.

I have a bluetooth adapter, that can send and receive files.

I was wondering if, for example, I could connect to it over the phone and let's say listen to music on my speakers connected via PC (in stereo of course)

Technically, I should make an audio receiver of my Bluetooth adapter on my PC, right?

Not sure, if there is any kind of software for that or it can't be done and requires a receiver instead?

I guess what you could do is connect the phone storage to PC, play the music from phone over winamp.
And yeah, you gotta have that bluetooth dongle/adapter

P.S. - I've been extracting recently enviromental sound files from other games, if anyone is interested in them for adding them to their maps, scripts, PM me

@user SkullFace:

I don't have any music on my phone storage, as I am using Spotify, this is why I wanted to use it over Bluetooth and send that music out to my speakers thru the PC's bluetooth adapter

It is possible.
I've managed to do it once using BlueSoleil, but of course that program is way too old (it was programmed for Windows XP and older Windows OSes).

It works on Windows 7 with some few tweaks though.

wait. you want to connect to your phone speakers and use your phone as a speaker using a bluetooth dongle?

There are videos online for that :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9IKJPN9g-E

Not really.

Let's make it more clear.

Let's say I am using my phone with Spotify or any other music app... I would connect my phone to the computer via Bluetooth.. then that music would be played on my z906 speakers in stereo mode (as I guess Bluetooth not gonna go 4.1) which is connected to my computer via SPDIF (digital)

Mindblowing idea here:
Why not using Spotify for PC to play the music there?
Just login an there you go, no hassle with the ugly bluetooth adapter garbage.

Not mindblowing at all.

The reason I want to do, because I have a Google Home hub and I prefer to ask Google to play specific songs on Spotify using my voice, while I can work at the same time.

Maybe you just wanna create a playlist then where you put together all the songs you want to listen to? I mean why make it the easy way if you can waste hours of trying to find out that it actually doesn't work because the adapter is probably not compatible for such use or there's no application that is able to pick up those signals on pc as there's no use for that.

Someone above just mentioned anyway it's possible, so people definitely wanted or want to use it still.

Well connect your phone via aux cable to your speakers and you get the same result. But I guess that's not bluetooth enough for you?

Possible, but you will need programs and apps for it.
