A little bit of off-topic, but...

To be honest, it would be good to see new CS2D scripting tutorials. Some nice video introduction to CS2D scripting would be nice, especially (extended version of this, for example).

This one is also a little bit old and not full of details, really. With new tuts, you could possibly find more people to create mods with. Even if you wouldn't, it would be a nice contribution to CS2D community

Why maps, gfx, sfx, scripts, etc if nobody plays this? you better start paying money to people so that they play this game

CS2D rather needs ads.

CS2D is not a game with the withdrawal of money, there is no monetization and donate in it at all.
It has no potential in eSports. Despite attempts to hold local champions of clans, individual teams and players, management and playability leaves much to be desired in terms of flaws (the author initially only wanted to copy the general ideas of the original), also because there are many imbalanced things.
A rare exception with violation of the terms of use is the creation of mods / servers with the payment of access to them (regular monthly fee) or the creation of paid skins / cards / mods.
Moreover, the style of the game is good for schoolchildren and young children and annoying, not only me, but also other potential players.
As a result, there is no active community, no large pool of players (who tend to spend money), no systematization and organization to develop the game. This is a hobby of the author and the main available game variety is received from some sympathizers.
Since the game is rather weak in complexity and has no variability (there are no quality mods), there is no point in conducting training or playing lessons.
At the moment there is no honest and affordable way to earn money with this game.
And yes advertising will not save this game. It has a very scanty community.

I'm not sure why this needs to be debated, as it was put by @user Pagyra: (although he really oughtn't be using Gtranslate to get his point across here), there is very little potential, especially at this point for Esports.

Esport games tend to be newer releases that are very polished graphically and systematically; as otherwise, there would be little reason for events to pour money into something that no one would want to watch nor play.

Age of Empires 2 has a decent Esports following due to its wide range of strategic possibilities, and can be quite a charm to watch if done right, so age isn't everything, but popularity and diversity is.

that said, i'm not an Esports fan at all, in fact i rather detest the idea of it being a 'sport', that said, CS2D unfortunately is not of that possible criteria, which is fine; it was never meant to be.
