It's at Frankfurt in Germany? Since most active players live in Europe I'm planning to move on my VPS to there. I'm currently hosting at Quebec in Canada but doesn't have too much players playing. So instead hosting just one global server to all, I may host (try) regional servers.

Edit: I made some tests and it seems Frankfurt is the best.

Geographically PL/UA would make the most sense, yet in terms of routing, any server in Frankfurt am Main (DE) or hosting provider not too far from DE-CIX Internet Exchange who has a peering agreement with them (99.999%).

If you really care so much about ping, you can evaluate providers' peering connections to see where they have good and fast connections guaranteed.

Personally I'd prefer a UK server at this point to connect european and NA players.

I'm planning to host in Miami and Frankfurt, with a VPS in Miami players from NA and SA will play together. They probably wont connect to EU. Same for EU, with a VPS in Frankfurt they wont connect to NA.
