Sorry I've only posted since New Year's, but I've been busy with other forums and life.

I finally got the chance to sit down and try this game.

My god, it kicks the proverbial butt!

It's very fun, and it's easy after you've died twice. I can't wait to hear about updates to the game and its english translation. The thing is...

I've built a shelter and I'm in the middle of building a campfire. I've killed the lions, and made some iron bolts. What else can I do exactly, folks?

Thank you, Unreal Software, for giving me another addiction, and another game to look forward to.

Also, as you can tell by my avatar, that I am a fan of the Super Nintendo game, EarthBound.

Edit: If what I'm asking to do next could spoil something for other people, either PM me or warn that it's a spoiler for other people, thank you.

Alright, thanks very much. Didn't know about the spoiler tags.

I had to restart, sadly, as I forgot some of the cargo. Now I've got all the cargo, and I'm ready to re-build.

Also,

Second Edit

Terribly sorry about this second edit, guys, but could someone tell me if my camp is good?

The picture is 1024x768, but it's a PNG, so that's good. I have a shelter, campfire, a well, storage, a dugout (off-picture) and many grapes and wheat planted.

There are some items that are troubling me, because I don't know what they are, or how to make them. I can tell one of them requires strung wool, but I don't know how to make it, excuse my newbish-ness, thanks.

Edit: Why is this sub-forum a little... dead? This game should be getting a lot of attention.

Are you talking about the english subforum?
That's normal, since Stranded II is released in German and the English Mod has problems with some maps (EC isn't able to edit them, no idea why )

you get wool by using a sheep (there grows one wool item every day) or by attacking a cotton plant. afterwards you have to use the wool in your inventory in order to get a cord.

maybe this subforum is a little dead because the game is still unfinished and in development and has not been greatly announcend.

There's a problem then.

I'm playing campaign, and there are no cotton plants left, and I haven't found any sheep... Only lions and monkeys. I also need animal fur, but unfortunately, due to the "extinction of the animals", I can't finish my sail ship. I don't know if I had a screwed up version or something, I got it from the the English thread.

Look after those Strange Longhead-Sheeps (@DC )
You can get wool from them without killing, you may catch them (dunno how) and build fences around them to hold them as pets. With the wool you can make cord. (sorry donno again!) You may Combine grain and a Stone to make Wheat outta it!, then make dough (guess how, combine with a water bottle or use ner water source), then use the dough near campfire. (I think Torches will do too...) Then bake the dough near campfire, (Torches will do too...) and then you will ahve a nice Bread!

Yes you have many things to discover, game on bro!
(And don´t forget to tell your friends about it.)

EDIT
Damn, i was a bit late (Better scroll dow next time before answering)

That with the cotton and fur, you should leave some animals alive, the will, ah generate new animals.

And DC could make special cotton-wool balls, wich you could use to plant cotton.

Well, it's been about 7 days, I've built many things except a bow net, a sail ship, a tent and a fence, no sheep are around, no cotton has regenerated, so... Restart? Nothing really new has happened, and I've survived for 24 days. I don't know what to do, sorry.

old I love this game

Alright, I'm going to go into detail.

I've gotten all the cotton and wheat. It doesn't respawn. 2 weeks went by, and NOTHING. There aren't any sheep, there are only parrots, some monkeys, two lions, and a kiwi. The monkeys and lions don't re-produce, heavily limiting the amount of animal fur I can harvest. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Am I supposed to use the "Stranded II English (Fenster)" shortcut instead, or is my game just really glitched?

Edit: Dicker says the way to advance through the game, is to...

The only thing I didn't make was a bow net and a fence, and I was in the middle of making a sail ship before running out of cotton AND animal fur...

You should had planted the wheat.
Take it into your hand and press 'E' while looking at ground. This will prevent you from starving.

The cotton bushes don't respawn once they are taken down, you have to use your spare ressources wisely.

Maybe you should restart the game and try again being less wasteful.

Luckily, I had a save before this, and planted the wheat as you said. (Remember the giant base? THAT'S the wheat. =D )

However, with the bow net, there isn't enough to go around if you want to build the bow net and the sail ship, but luckily, DC told me the ship isn't required.

Edit: Alright, made the bow net, still nothing new. There also is that crate that gives me a German message in red on the left side whenever I hit it...

Thanks, man! Didn't know the lockpick was for it. I thought the crate was a feature not implemented yet. :S

Sorry for all that confusion. -__-

Edit: NOW I'm getting somewhere! =D
