I sometimes play california jail map. I was recently banned for an hour for killing a terrorist prisoner. This particular player was killing all the ct's during fighting in the previous round, but in the next round i finally cuffed him, i said halt and he ran away. i killed him and, he became so angry with me that he voted to kick me 3 times and i was eventually banned. What is the deal with this california jail map!? What is the point of cuffing the prisoners and not killing them? every time i cuff them the ct's lose, if i kill them i get banned. Could someone explain this map to me?

1. We have nothing to do with the rules of the said jail server you are playing on. It is a moderation problem rather than a map problem.

2. Then why don't you just kill him? He killed previously. It is justified to do so.

You can't kill T if he not killed CT else it's a freekill; if T kill CT, it's allow for kill .

But T use joke and/or T not drop all weapons

It's fun of play CT or T but players play sometimes T (not rules of kill for T).
(AFK) CS2D is boring, server is same, AI is a not better, forum is not better, (...). I would come back but it's not for now.

I'm assuming you're talking about -[IFwsI]- Jail. First off, in our script, a user can't vote you multiple times to increase the vote count, multiple players have to vote you in order for you to be kicked, and the ban is automatically given, there's not much we can do about freevoting if there are no moderators online.

Also, if a terrorist has killed a CT before in the same round, he is automatically added to the "Wanted List" on the top left corner of your screen and he can be killed without consequence.

Your job as the CT is to basically roleplay as a warden/guard of the jail and prevent the Ts from planting the bomb in the helicopter area or the CT spawn, killing off the CTs or escaping via the boat. However, you can't harm innocent Terrorists.

You may want to read through the server info which contains all the server rules and frequently asked questions, you can access it by pressing F1 ingame. There is also links to our forums and Discord server, where you may want to ask further questions about the server.

No, in the Jail gamemode that counts as revengekilling, a form of freekilling which is against the rules.

I thought a killing a Terrorist who has killed and refused to obey was justified?

Yes of course. I assumed you were talking about killing the terrorist in the following round, my mistake.

i edited my first post in this topic, to describe that i had killed that Terrorist player before he killed any CTs in that new next round. Anyway i understand now thanks, but this maps rules are still strange. Oh well i'll continue to play it anyway. Thanks

-someone should really change the rules of cal. jail. make it so that the terrorist can always escape on his or their own and take away all of the no kill rules. This map sucks the way it is.
Also have the terrorists convert into ct somehow after they are captured. And make a way so the Ts are clinged to the CTs after cuffing maybe.

Not only would that be unfair and boring for the Terrorists, it would be no different than having an unbalanced standard gamemode map.

Also, the terrorists CAN escape on their own, there are many ways to escape your cell and the jail itself, you just gotta play and find out, the map has much more to offer than what's on the surface.

Having Ts turn into CTs would also upset the well established balance, however that could work for another gamemode, maybe a TDM where killed players switch to the other team BUT the remaining players get stronger with each teammate dead. I like the sound of that. Wonder if anything similiar was made...

For the cuffs, again, the balance. Terrorists should be able to escape from almost any position, they can break their cuffs by hitting the walls.

No this is a problem. What i'm saying is that if there is only one terrorist playing he should always spawn inside an escapable cell, so that the terrorists are never dependant on the ct's to be released. In this sense it would be fair to not have "free-killing" (no killing) rules. Each round would be a free for all. There is too much grey area in this map the way it is, the t's just keep voting to kick me if i kill them and then they keep winning.
