The 3D stuff in CS2D is badass. I like it. Didn't test the recoil stuff tho. Too many retards ingame who vote you off the server for false claims.

Youtube and its ironic recommendations. Watching a trailer for a game and get a free speedhack in the next video.

Update After 5 days and a few hours:
√ Yes-Votes: 2,039, 69% of all votes are a yes (2% are abstentions)
CS2D now has 230 follower and 262 comments on the Greenlight page

Yes-votes per day are rapidly dropping from over 500 in the first 24 hours to less than 100 in the last 24 hours. This was expected though. Most traffic on the first days was from CS2D players who read about it here, on CS2D.com or in-game.

And still no CS2D players.. our servers are empy, user DC .

I don't really expect that Steam will change a lot. Even in case CS2D gets greenlit: There are so many games on Steam that people just won't find CS2D.

I'm loving the 16:9 support, finally 1080p CS2D!
This has probably been said before but yeah please make the menus scale with the resolution. The buy menu looks so tiny on high resolutions.

As Yates said there is no such a thing called Steam Launcher. It just starts your game, while provides you an overlay in-game. Many games can be played without Steam by simply starting the .exe in the directory.

I believe everything related to Steam auth and other stuff will be discussed after it released. It's pointless to talk about this yet.

@user DC: have you checked around about games that got Greenlit? What Yes-No ratio did they have? Did you ask some other developer by any chance? I randomly checked one and it had half of the comments.

Imo, aside of those childish CSGO fanboys that downvoted because "muh copyrito infasdadsad", we have an advantage due to the fact that we ALREADY have a player-fanbase.

Some games that got greenlit could very well be unknown till the day of release.

I am pretty sure if CS2D manages to get on Steam there can be an increase of the active playerbase by a thousand at least. Not many (free) games get a CounterStrike feeling like this. East Countries especially will probably show more interest, purely because games like this are quite popular.

@user CoSmo: Steam itself offers values for comparison. CS2D is pretty strong on Greenlight.

• The average yes-ratio is 64% for the top 50 games (for CS2D currently 68% of all votes are a yes)
• Average number of follower is 236 for the top 50 games (CS2D already got 239 follower)
• CS2D is currently on rank #83 of all 3,530 games on Steam Greenlight
• It has way less page visitors (4,445) than top 50 games (average 14,600) but still better values. This indicates that we managed to get a lot of visitors (which follow and vote for yes) from the active community

I also talked to devs. I heard about games getting greenlit which received less votes in a longer period of time. But in the end it's up to Valve.

@user DC If cs2d is on steam, will be there more protection for the servers? I mean, you can easy crash any cs2d server and not as in other games. Maybe you can do something?

EDIT: I just see in Dr. Trojan's youtube video that he use a "secret" cs2d bug. Someone of the mods or DC know already which bug it is?
