Hi community, first of all, sorry for not posting in like 2 months, I promise the project was never off, let me explain.

First of all, the community & @user DC himself will tell you I've most days been active in replying to questions and feedback over on our Discord, next, I've done no updates for like 15 weeks because I've been updating the engine a lot (if you didn't know, the remake runs off of my own engine, SharpXNA, utilizing the MonoGame framework).

By updating, I've been coding a lot of algorithms for a lot of different future things that could/would be added to the remake without a problem, as in, I've spent a lot of the time also going over these algorithms 9 times a day just to get them to run optimally on even super low-end computers!

One of the big things I've done, and just implemented in the remake over the last couple of days is realistic Lighting & FOW, here's a picture:

Some details about it are; You can't see other players, bullets, dropped items, projectiles or anything in the grayscaled map shadows.
It also runs exceptionally good, let me begin by saying I'm coding and testing this on my low-end computer, an i3 processor (dual core) and an AMD gfx card from 2012~ and it still runs at 200+ FPS at 4k resolution, and a side-note, the whole FOW & Lighting system hasn't even been optimized yet (I have even more plans to do this).

Oh, and by the way, we also support colored lighting with this FOW system!

Off-topic: After the dev-log, a lot was done, the game had like 50+ bug/crash fixes, I tested a lot with the CS2D community over at our Discord, and the game is playable, the only thing we really need now is placeable spawn points and bomb spots, there is something like 8 game modes I setup already.

Please let me know what I should do next! Do you want a playable game already? Or are you enjoying the big engine advancements I'm doing?

Should team members be visible at all times in the FOW? Or should team members also have visible LOS like yourself?

What do you want to see happen the most here?
