Make sure that the portforwarding is enabling UDP traffic (or both TCP+UDP), not just TCP Your PC's IP may change between reboots. You can see your local IP in Windows' cmd: "ipconfig" command. Of course, it must match the setting of the routed ports. Side note: do not start the game client before your dedicated server, it might occupy the 36963 port on your computer otherwise. (e.g. you can't join LAN server)Everything else looks fine so far.
VADemon: Its set to UDP port.and my IP changes everytime i start my computer so do i have to change the IP in router port forwarding settings?
edit1:my server is listed in cs2d.com/servers.php
but i can't join it when dedicated
edit2:i think my problem is solved because i have to call my internet provider to forward that port

LordArthur10: If your router is crappy, then you have to manually assign new IP in port forwarding options, yes.If you have settings for DHCP (DHCP is the technique that automagically assigns IPs to new devices in a network) in your router, then you have these options:
1) Extend DHCP reservation time (an IP is reserved for a particular PC for a limited time)
2) Limit DHCP IP range (from 192.168.*.2-255 to e.g. 192.168.*.50-255) - so you can set your own IP manually in a range (e.g. 192.168.*.2-50)
3) My router supports fixed IP address per MAC address, this way my PC always receives the same IP from the router automatically
PS: Yea, it could be your internet provider as well, if you only have a "gray" IP address.
