Hi us ,I have a problem;
I know,there are lots of threads about this problem,but i tried everything and i can't fix it.
It happened when i updated my Windows xp to Windows 7,the error appears when i just run cs2D, it says "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"
-I readed ALL F.A.Q and deleted the lines "Sounddrivers" in config.cfg
-I uninstalled and installed the cs2D lots of time but this still happening
-I couldn't even touch cs2D because it do not open
-I have a good antivirus and it Don't block cs2D

I ran cs2D using OpenGL,it started,but with lot of lag,Maybe the problem is my DirectX? i updated it to DirectX 11... Maybe i should buy some video driver?

Regards

You don't "buy" graphic card drivers, they are free to download.
You said you read all the FAQs? Did you do the rest of them shown here?

This can be caused by bugs, damaged Lua scripts or problems with your system.

Some possible problems with solution:
• No internet connection -> Go online / start with -off commandline
• Problems with network device -> Get the latest drivers
× Firewalls / Antivirus -> Configurate or turn off
• Outdated system -> Run update function (e.g. Windows Update)
• Outdated drivers (graphics/sounds) -> Get the latest drivers
• Outdated OpenAL -> Get latest OpenAL drivers at connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads
× Outdated DirectX version -> Get the latest version
• General problems with graphics -> Try all modes with Launcher.exe
• Other software -> Quit all applications you don't need
• Virus -> Scan and clean your system with Antivirus software
× Damaged Installation -> Re-download and re-install CS2D
• Weak/slow system -> Try another PC or upgrade your hardware

Also, it might be useful it you can state your system specifications, esp. your GPU, CPU and RAM, so others can better troubleshoot your problem.

Probably your graphics card driver is out of date and might occur this issue. Of course, there are plenty of factors which cause this issue so is kinda hard to troubleshoot this issue in a quick way and that's obvious but that depends though. I'd suggest you to keep everything up to date (at least the graphics card and other drivers as they're much important).

I don't know if this will work, but might be worth a try. This is for diagnosing your RAM, as faulty RAM is one of the causes of the error.

As a first action you should download MemTest86 and run it for at least 1 full pass. If there is no errors, then get LinX and run test (problem size 10000, 40 passes) and verify that there are no errors. If still no problems found, try FurMark run stability test for at least 10 minutes and verify there is no freezes.
