Can Moderators change or update CS2D themselves or do they just have to maintain peace in Unreal Software?

I was wondering of this about a year and come up of it in mind just in this date.

What if a Mod started to know what Game Software is DC really using for CS2D this Year. And started Upgrading it himself?

I was Shocked when I remembered this while making a skin.

The only purpose of moderators is to moderate the website. Don't expect anything more or less.

DC is developing the games by himself. On occasion he will add user generated content such as levels for CS2D or weapons for CC, but that's as close as you're gonna get to other people working on Unreal Software games.

Definitely no, a moderator is not allowed to develop a game that DC is already working on or already supports.
And of course, that release will be unused and blamed from the other users.
Unless DC wants to let someone to help him.

What user Seekay said. Moderators neither have the source code of the game nor the permission to access files on my web server directly. Both of these two things are required to release new versions. Along with game programming skills in BlitzMax obviously.

And no, I'm not planning to team up to make games and updates faster. Search the forum and you will find a ton of threads about this topic.

Thanks all it means a lot, I think I need to close this topic.
but what if someone neither Moderators, Users, Super Users, Idiots, etc. Will actually update with hardcore lua programming skills. But I think DC will not Approve the game. Because the versions are only released in UnrealSoftware.de.

so after they do such a hard work nothing will happen and CS2D will be okay unless DC Updates it.

It's possible to use the old source code before DC rewrote it in BlitzMax. BlitzMax does not equal Lua by the way. It would probably be best to write a similar game from scratch. Even DC agreed on that. He's just not doing it because he has other priorities. AFAIK the only on-going and alive project that's steadily progressing is Play2D (search for topic if ur interested).

Also, improve your English cause you've said a couple sentences that make no sense.
