I already tested this a few months ago. After it was installed succesfuly, my server was shown in serverlist, but no one were able to play in it. I myself couldn't join it. So better stop spreading this sh**t.

Well, there is thread cs2d (D)DoS Deflate also. This script can prevent your server to be attacked by small and medium attacks but is not really effective against huge attacks.

I never used such a script like this that you posted in the thread description, in other words I won't judge it.

@user lennon: Could you please explain in a detailed way?
If you mean that you installed this script and after 1 or 2 hours you found that your servers are shut-downed then either you didn't installed (D)DoS Deflate script correctly or you missed something.

Myself I installed this script in VPS of my friend, tested it and seems it's effective against small/simple attacks.

user BountyHunter, user lennon: What kind of OS do you have or what does the error say?
When I installed this script, I followed the exact method of installation without doing other things and I used Debian (although I can't remember the version of it...).

I think it must say something, a error or something like that if this script doesn't work properly.

@user GeoB99: I used Ubuntu 11.10 or something like that and reinstalled that ddos protection 2 times. There's no error, just my server is in serverlist, but noone can join it and in us.de statistics it says timeout, you know.
