I mean, that if admin enter eg. "save" during the pause, all information about the players (position, ammunition...) will be saved and then you will be able to resume the game.

Tell me what do you think about this project, and whether would you like to use this script on your server?

EDIT:

Script: 70% complete

Features
• players don't see the area behind if it is the pause and for of war
• players don't have any ammo in the pause
• anybody can pause a game by typing 'pause', 'stop' or other words that can be set in config file
• script can't work until admin will write 'init' with ready players in teams
• if someone left from a game and somebody pause the game, all players will be forced to say 'ready' and other player can't swap with missing player

Awesome idea but pretty useless I think (except for competitive maybe).

But using this concept:
Save all datas for every second of the game. Then you can load up the map with all datas and replace the players with bots which will then act like the players (reading the datas; and using ai_* lua commands) and then you have a demo.

You mean something like:
Playing a match and one player is timing out. Then you can type in "pause" to save the actual game datas so you can resume when the player has internet connection again. But nobody would care on a casual (e.g: deathmatch) server where everyone is able to join. Thats why this script would only be useful in competitive games.
And your script would open many possibilities: a demo (for rewatching matches like I said already) or maybe even a call of duty-killcam.

WOW, good point. Thanks for mentioning it. I'll encrypt files using a secure algorithm file.

The 'Match' is a 5v5 match where players compete. Such tournaments are done in Standard mode. Players can get a DoS to hinder their game or get any health problems or anything.

Btw. the script already exists in CS:GO.

Well is a good idea, if you can make something familiar to ebot (csgo) with automatic swap, counting score would be great.
