Hello there,
I've got an idea. Let's talk and discuss about UnrealSoftware moderators here. This would not be a place where we would express our hatred or irony about them, but just a place to discuss their actions and other things associated with them.

Well, some of the moderators did and still doing a good job here in us against trolls, breakrules, etc. while some of them are inactive (maybe they had hard days or working, who knows).

Anyway, i found this thread a bit uneccesary, but whatever.

Every opinion counts and is welcome unless it's pointless hate, flame, spam or trolling.

I think that the moderators here are doing a great job. Please keep in mind that they are doing this totally voluntarily without any payment. They are a huge support and help keeping this forum tidy. Sometimes it may happen that certain things are not spotted/handled by any moderator or that a moderator makes a mistake but you can bet that this place would be sooo much worse without the moderators.

I'm very glad that there are still reliable and honest people on the internet and I'm very thankful for their help.

@user DC: I don't mean to be disrespectful, but they're not having a lot of work to do nowadays.
Well, I guess you keep so many for the time this site will grow, aside with Stranded III perhaps.

Somes moderators don't even know/how to use something and they think it's illegal so they free t-ban u ofc , stupidity? Idk .yea maybe we can call it a mistake but Google is free to use , so they can learn more and understant what it mean .
but somes are doing a great job as an awesome moderator .

I agree with user Pseudon, lately I haven't seen too many rule violations. It could be because I haven't been active enough or because there actually haven't been too many rule violations.

@user CaneCorso: The ban depends mostly on the intention you had when you made that post. The worse you did, the longer the ban. I often ban for about three days because I just can't ban for 4, 5 or 6 days.

Moderating is a greatness work and it has some of capacity as well, also some of the Moderators can make mistakes but not at all. I mean not every day or every 3 days, it must be at least 1-2 week before mistaking.
Also the players/members, don't ignore Moderators if they make just a simply needless mistake.
That is all i can say it here, thanks.

The moderators are fine...
I really feel secure with the usgn staff...
Actually i dont "hate" no-one, but i have some "problems" with the opinions of some of them.
I eventually disagree with some things, but generally i agree with them.
I think actually the most "active" is user Rainoth

Message for some users: Stop fucking with user KimKat , maybe him isnt right many times, but is a really old moderator and he really cares about the progress of Counter-Strike 2D, i take care about this.

I prefer don't make show so you may not notice my work when i'm active.

You're right. I really DON'T notice what you do. I sometimes see you ban people in file archive for breaking rules. Care to enlighten us what you're doing here and there (as in what you're working on, a mod, something in real life or something else perhaps? If it's not a bother for you).

I'm not sure if user EngiN33R is in conditions to keep an eye on the forum.

I haven't really noticed anything wrong with moderators. Well, one but he already answered me (or rather didn't) so I guess I'll leave it at that.

I'd say the moderators are doing a fine job (and I am not talking about myself) and I am really happy that lately they have less to do. The forum is becoming a better place :3

You may see me to be more active than others because I don't have much to do lately. Well, I'm working on something with user Pseudon but I'm not in university so I'm not that busy. I'm sure i'll be less frequent a visitor once exams knock on the door.

Here i just do my work, when i notice violations. I'm not sure if you know that you can check all unexpired bans when you create a new ban (it's better to open window in new tab and add &popup=1 to address).
I'm student. Proto-Slavic is one of my hobbies (i create articles in English Wiktionary), and i'm still working on HL2D.

I always did wonder how the decision is made when it comes to punish or not punish a user. Like say 2 or more Moderators disagree about the punishment - do they automatically make a decision between themselves or does every ban reports to DC?

Also i am terribly sorry if this question has already been answered - But does the Moderator selection go from a group in general via suggestions - or up from the top of high command in general with DC's decision?

@user Night Till Death: When a moderator disagrees about a ban, we talk to each other to decide wether it's correct or not. About he moderator selection, I wasn't recommended by any moderator (from what I know) but I know/heard about some people who were recommended. I might be wrong or not but I think that most of the time they're chosen because a small group of moderators (or even a single moderator) requests it to user DC. And there's also the other way through moderator votation threads which only come when it's necessary to have a higher activity.
